For me the best part of yesterday was we did the right thing. Said it all week if they play 2 high safeties with 6 or 7 in the box we have to run, we did virtually every time. We took shots downfield when there like the one to Green. Even late in the game right before the run by Chase I posted if we do that little inside shovel to Chase it'll go to the house, you could see how the Rams were playing they were trying to get a hit in the backfield get a safety and they were sold out if you broke the LOS it was going for a long play. It wasn't a shovel just a straight handoff but absolutely the perfect call.

Rams missed some plays, bad throws, drops etc but don't forget the Green drop hurt the first drive. The near completion to D Hop that should have been PI, the one near the goalline I'm still convinced Hop caught but the refs didn't review it so we settled for a FG on that drive. Point being they could have been better but we had plays we nearly made too. Just a little bit here and there and Kyler puts up 40 + on that Rams defense, very impressive

I don't think the Rams win that game even if they don't have the two turnovers. The Cardinals looked like a team that could match scores all game long, and mostly TDs.

Budda Baker alluded to their strategy: Stop Cooper Kupp. If you watched any of the Rams earlier games, Kupp was running wide open all of the time. The Rams do a great job getting him with a lot of separation by design and he is good after the catch.

I called edmonds and green JAGs last week for what they had done so far. They have proven they just needed some time.

What I have said, and I will continue to say, is that people who are saying that the offense is as good as it's been under Kliff only due to Murray aren't right at all. Kliff is a very good play designer and a good playcaller. He's bad at game management.

Even my Rams fan friend was saying he hopes Kliff gets fired so that McVay can hire him.

A bit of a mea culpa in the aftermath of a great win. I was sitting next to my dad and one of my best friends since 2nd grade today, put my hands on both of their shoulders after the 3rd and 16... and expressed "I was wrong."

They laughed, because my doubts of Kyler Murray extended well past this forum.

K1's probably the biggest breath of fresh air I've had with this franchise since the prime years of Larry Fitzgerald, and it's hard to not get even more excited than that, since he's in command of this team. He does stuff that frustrates every single team in the NFL, and I think he's grown into a much better leader. This guy seems so dialed in. I read an article yesterday about him inquiring about the best patches of grass to get the best amount of speed on.

I can't fathom having a true MVP candidate on our roster. His excitement when we went up 3(4) to 13 despite Conner scoring instead of him, channeled everything I've wanted to see from the QB of the Arizona Cardinals.

Next Monday, I start a new job, which I'd seen as a bit of a bummer, but Murray's somehow made me remember how much I really love the Cards, and has brightened my spirits. He seems like a special player, and this is a fun team to watch! I know I've been hard on him. It's doubtful that I'll remain so. Our tilt against the 49ers is something I'm looking forward to, instead of terrified of.

When it became apparent the Cardinals might draft Murray, I jumped in and reviewed all he had done at Oklahoma and I saw what we are seeing now. The kid is a BALLER. He is not only naturally talented, but he also wants to be great. Most of the criticism we have seen has been complete bull dunk. Bickley and his incessant shock jockisms. Making up stories about Murray that are only rooted in speculation.

What I saw was a kid who could blossom into an iconic threat. You can talk about Aaron Rodgers or Stafford's arm, you can talk about Lamar's ability to run, you can talk about Russell Wilson's moxie and will to win. Kyler Murray doesn't have the best arm, he doesn't run quite as well as Lamar, and I don't think he quite has Wilson's moxie. But if you combine all of the elements you have something special.

Where I'm concerned is whether the front office can maintain the team around him, because if Murray as protection and weapons, he can be the best offensive player in football, and may be the best overall player.

Bonus baby, still think he is a unicorn, but I like riding unicorns! I gasped when he took that big hit Sunday. I think there is a team difference, I mean when Murray went down each year, we sucked, I think we could compete with colt but not strievler, not nearly as good as with Kyler, but would compete?

no knock at all just saying, this is great for Kyler and for cards fans. It is in the cards best interest to reduce the dependence on the unicorn, develop a well rounded team for a 17 game season and beyond. I think they are doing that, niners may be a bigger test then the rams Then at the browns!

I'm mostly just being silly for the fun of it, but he's currently functioning as a short yardage/goal specialist with a low YPC and zero target share in the passing game. Zaven Collins hasn't done much of anything yet, while Najee Harris is 6th in the league in production from the running back position in terms of rushing and receiving.

It's not that the offense doesn't look good, but man, imagine it with a hyper-talented running back instead of an ILB ceding snaps to Jordan Hicks.

I’d rather have Collins. RBs still a dime a dozen. Harris is just being force fed because Ben is done. Harris is still just 3.9 YPC…. I’ll take our duo of RBs and Collins they are working as needed damn near perfectly.

Good point. DA came into the league talking about a second contract being the mark of success and Kyler has played his heart out and is giving us no choice.
