Cant believe it. The question was who 4 of the top 5 single game passing yard record holders were. My answers were lomax, jake, boomer and buerlien. I cant think of who the other would be, but it wasnt Hart. Anyhow, I guess I won a couple of steaks or something, gotta go p/u tommorow. :D

Given the timing of the question, I'm thinking McCown???

I'm thinking the 500+ yards that Boomer Esiason put up must rank in the top 5...maybe even the top 1?

Neil Lomax is at the top twice, so here's the top six games:

468 Neil Lomax at Washington, Dec. 16, 1984 (37 comp.-46 att.)
465 Jake Plummer vs. Dallas, Nov. 15, 1998 (31 comp.-56 att.)
457 Neil Lomax at San Diego, Sept. 20, 1987 (32 comp.-61 att.)
431 Steve Beuerlein at Sea., Dec. 19, 1993-OT (34 comp.-53 att.)
428 Charley Johnson vs. Pitt., Oct. 13, 1963 (20 comp.-42 att.)

I guess Dave Krieg

I guess I should've done the top seven, as Dave is there. That should keep you from sleepless nights wondering about it. :)

413 Dave Krieg vs. Atl., Nov. 26, 1995-OT (27 comp.-43 att.)

Oh and congrats speedy on your winnings.

Wow! 428 yards on 20 completions. He must have been a mad bomber that day.

Oddly enough none of the receivers in that game gained enough to rank in the top single game receiving yards for the Cards.

Must have really been spreading the ball around.
