Record is misleading. He took over a horrid team and they improved every year. He got fired because he couldn’t get them over the hump, but it was the same hump that Gentry (who is a solid coach) also couldn’t get them over.
Wasn't he the coach who quit because he wife died?

Wait. We plan to "target" Monty Williams. We fired Igor w/o having our next coach in the bag.
Most candidates are reluctant to talk to teams about coaching positions while another coach has the job.

They made the players his first year. Then they went crap for 3 years to make it his last year. Not a good path and not improving unless you count 25 wins to 32 wins which still sucks azz

Given our habit of firing people right around the season tipping off... I don't think the Sarver ran Suns are big on "planning".

He took some time off after his wife was killed in a car accident. He resurfaced in the Spurs front office and then decided he was ready to get back into coaching and took the 76ers assistant coaching job last year.

On February 10, 2016, Williams' wife, Ingrid, died from injuries sustained from a car crash in Oklahoma City after her car was struck head-on by a vehicle that crossed lanes after losing control.

They blew up the team and most notable traded Chris Paul after that first year.

Well, whoever gets hired, I hope they give him a couple of seasons. Joerger is my choice, but I doubt anyone good is going to want this job.

Go get joerger please! The king's were stupid to let him go!

The more I read about him the less sure I am that they screwed up there. Apparently, he's considered a great development coach but he's lacking in actual game coaching. He'd be perfect here with our young guys but I think he, more than most coaches, is hired to be fired. We really need some stability so he's probably not the direction we should go.

Seriously short of them landing Zion in the draft any good coach won't want to come her other than for stupid money.

Monty Williams and Jeff Bower worked together in New Orleans. Very Interesting....

I think Bower and Van Gundy worked together in Detroit, too!

Jason Kidd is too toxic. No one is touching him. His alma mater didn’t even call him for its vacancy.

I know. It happens to be my alma mater as well. I knew Jason Kidd there. Brilliant as a basketball player on the court. Otherwise dumb as a rock and about as articulate as one as well.

Walton is a dumpster fire....being investigated for sexual assault.
By a woman reporting it 2 years later after she voluntarily went into his hotel room.

Yeah, okay.

I'm sure Anthony Davis was a huge part of them finally getting back to the playoffs not Williams
It obviously takes players to succeed.

Did you actually read her accusation? You make some dumb comments but this one is impressively dumb even for you.
