I say we start a petition for Ouchie to be HC while naming me GM.

Just think about how entertaining the board would be with us sniping at each other under code names and then explode when I fire his ass after 1 season!

I need to be a bench coach. No way you two make it a whole year without me running interference!

I wonder how many of the players' input management used? Josh Jackson was definitely not a fan of Igor's too quiet sideline demeanor on horrible refereeing. I heard Ayton say a few things about being confused with the strategies during the season as well.

Anyway management had a few weeks to get his insights if they wanted it on how he envisions them turning this mess around. Me thinks they were still not much impressed.

honestly... God bless Sarver. He can't do ANYTHING to entertain us on the court, but he makes damn sure to do so off it!

How did I miss the fact James Jones played for Monty?

Jeff Bower
James Jones
Monty Williams
Darren Collison

That would actually be impressively underwhelming

people here tend to be in denial about a lot of things that don't seem that difficult to interpret. Never seemed like these guys took to him, IMO but any time I said so, I got an avalanche of "You don't know what you're talking about!" myopia so at a certain point, there's was no point starting up more war on the board.

One thing that may entice prospective coaches is the generous benefits package that Saver provides his head coaches. Where else can you get 2 years of paid vacation after only one year on the job?

Maybe instead of Fitz hanging out with Sarver, we need to bring in JayZ to explain what a Blueprint is!

Not a fan of this move, but you all knew that.

The Lakers are going to hire Williams. We will probably end up with Lue. Yuck.

And there goes another year down the drain. Why care about the draft, free agency, or trades?

My theory is Zion cures all ills. We want to attract a free agent PG, playing with Booker, Ayton and Zion would be tempting. It would be tempting for a coach, too. Gotta get Zion! LOL. No Zion, then ANOTHER year goes down the drain. LOL!

This helps clear out more of the stench in the room, that was left behind after McDonough was whacked.

I see no problem with it.

I said it a long time ago that Jones does not have qualifications to be the head of basketball operations and he’s proven it right.

Igor simply did not have enough time for us to know if he was a good or bad coach. So many injuries derailed the season as well massive roster holes which the front office did not fix.

5 coaches in 5 seasons for Devin Booker. He would be an idiot to not demand a trade in the near future and get the hell away from Robert Sarver imo.

Not particularly excited about any of the mentioned options but Jason Kidd would be especially revolting.

Not only is famous for his fry eating, but in one of his first games back in town, I recall him flipping off the fans and calling Phoenix a "one horse town". He burnt the bridge, don't rebuild it. He's a crap coach anyway.

Of the realistic choices I'd probably lean towards Joerger. My unrealistic hope is to make a god-father offer to Jay Wright.

Igor was awful and inspired nobody.

The first red flag was already obvious when he failed in summerleague with a massively stacked roster.

You dont have qualifications to determine this.

Normally you'd want the new Head Coach to be on board before the draft, as part of the decision making.

But with the Suns not being a choice destination for good coaches, would it be better to wait until we see
how high our pick is and hope that, if it is high, we might attract a good coach. What do you think?

Thank you

That is at least two of us think alike.

1. We won 19 games.
2. McDonough hired him
3. Appears to be lacking communication skills

That is enough reasons for me

And whoever says he had no PG... Booker is a better PG than a lot of NBA teams have. Orlando and San Antonio made the playoffs.

19 wins without tanking - let that sink - and an obvious disconnect with his players

Give him all the time you want but stoic mannequin igor would have never connected with his team.

But then Book didn't have a superior Shooting Guard to feed . . . or a skilled Point Guard to feed him. He put up stats, but it didn't relate to wins.

Of course, I absolutely agree. His placid personality may have worked with a veteran team, but not this overly young team.

And his European approach evidently didn't work as Head Coach in the NBA either, now that he was the figurehead.
