so now what : The Shins
The Shins are a terrific, if not underrated band. Mercer does seem like he's a little difficult personally, but he's a great talent.
One of my faves:

If you like Mercer have you listened to Broken Bells? Their first album is amazing.
I currently have Heat Wave stuck in my head. Love Glass Animals but their last album wasn't as good as their first 2 albums.

Checking in on Lindsey.

Yup, still got it. That voice is a treasure.
I especially like the guitar.
Those are a fairly recent offering from Fender. They put out a strat and tele style last year and just released this jazzmaster style with some interesting electronics for a lot of tonal options. They look great and the reviews are pretty good so far. I'm a fan of the more traditional types of acoustics and electrics, but I could see this being handy for some gigging musicians out there and it's fun to see companies try something new.
It has a nice sound.

Gotta finish on some nice music and memories.

Phoenix Suns Intro 1993
I’ve been all over the country for work and this is by far the most universally accepted bar song. Don’t care where you at if your in a dive and you put this on it gets a good reaction.
