I'm sorry, but the Suns can't win a title with this team.

When our players can't play any defense, there is no chance we go anywhere.

We might as well trade players while their value is high.

Who said anything about winning a title? Only Steve Kerr and Robert Sarver were delusional enough to think they could bring a title home by chasing off fun basketball and trading it in for B rate version of what we've had for the last few years.

This team should make the playoffs and if they make it to the 2nd round, it should probably be considered a success.

I think this was already known. The defense isn't good enough, the offense would be good enough if they could not turn it over 9 times in the first quarter. the team they played tonight was the 2nd or third best team in the east at this point, and they have only started to play well again recently after playing awful for a while. They were also missing a starter. This is the kind of thing that can happen to the suns when they give good teams opportunities like they did today.

Then just end the season right now, because I always thought that was determined by the team and actually playing the games, but if you say so...

give it up. they can't win it. optimism won't fix 9 turnovers in the first quarter.

The difference is that he has evidence to back his claim up, while all you have is koolaid. :koolaid:

it's like the cards and suns have switched places. Kool-aid was a cards trademark. now....the suns?

Shaq was right. the sun did rise. Too bad it was over the cardinals, not the suns.

Get over it. Wow, stats to back up your claim. When in the hell did you develop the skill to see into the future? Just because a team doesn't look like a champioship team doesn't mean they can't win it.

End of discussion.

I am done.

Any little clever quips you make in regards to this post will be read, but won't be replied to by me.

Don't worry, andrew. A couple more BIG losses to the top 4 in the west and you won't even need facts. It will just be blatantly obvious to you like it has been for the rest of us since this team traded KT, james jones, and 3 firsts.

A terrible owner sunk this team, there is really no way you can fix it. You can temporarily patch it up to make it look sort of good, but you cannot fix it.

Porter SUCKS can't really think of a worse coach right now. What a moron its a long road trip why you need to run the starters so much in a total blowout is ridiciulous! This guy clearly does not know what the hell he is doing, and think the players realize this now which is a bad, bad thing.

Our problem is more than just a "Bad" coach. We can't play defense, and don't have much of a killer instinct to put teams away, or get stops when we need it.

I've been on the positive side of the suns for a long time, but i'm not sure they have it in them this year. I see flashes of something good, but then spells of inconsistency and terrible defense. That's not championship material, and won't last long if they make the playoffs.

Yep, even Nash agrees:

"Well, we’ve had a few draft-night trades to stay under the salary cap that were difficult in the big picture. Our franchise is built on a business model that tries to stay under the cap as much as we can. It’s just how it’s been."

But he was much cheaper than DA and Kerr even mentioned this fact. I guess you get what you pay for.

So you say they can't win, I say they can.

I admire your dedication and optimism Andrew..

Unfortunately I'm losing hope that this team can ever be successful while Robert Sarver owns them. We had a golden opportunity but Sarver let it slip away by refusing to cough up money and push the Cap.

Like HAT said in his post above....

This quote from Steve Nash says it all:
(On the Suns' draft-night trade of Rondo)
"Well, we’ve had a few draft-night trades to stay under the salary cap that were difficult in the big picture. Our franchise is built on a business model that tries to stay under the cap as much as we can. It’s just how it’s been."
