Banks did really well tonight, especially in combination with Barbosa. I don't know why, but we seemed to lose some spark when Nash came back in in the fourth--and of course Marion, who was just awful compared to usual. Maybe the Jazz, that bunch of big clods, just match up against us well. Not a good time to be lacking KT. Sloan is a good coach, and if he gets some players with as hot a hands as Williams and Okur, he takes advantage of it. The kind of sense I'd like D'Antoni to display more of.
I too still hope D'Antoni gives Rose some chunks of time to let him adjust to the team and show what he can do. He could be part of the PG answer, more than Banks. But I feel less negative about Banks now--maybe he could have a role.
