Garbage?

8-4 overall, in the NFC East, Romo out 3 games, and a ton of other injuries. The Cardinals are 7-5 with the benefit of playing in the NFC West.

Well their only quality wins are against Green Bay and Washington, and maybe TB if you call that quality play :) Oh and getting blown out of the building by the Rams qualifies this team as garbage. If they do get into the playoffs they will have earned it and proven me wrong, but I'm pretty confident they going to Pitt, Philly, and Baltimore and Giants going to Dallas, they'll be hard pressed to win 2 games, I'm actually rooting for them. Their defense doesn't impress me at all.

I never said the Cardinals were quality, we are most likely the worst team to ever make the playoffs. With Seattle losing 8 WRs this year, Bulger and Jackson missing significant amounts of time as well as many of the Rams secondary members out, the 49ers in turmoil, looking for a coach and QB we reap the benefits of their suckage this year. BTW Dallas gets to play our division opponents this year too.

Again I never said we(The Cards) were good, we're just better than STL/Sea/SF possibly all 3 in the top 5 in the draft, sorry but I can't get excited about that, only to have my heart ripped out come playoff time.

Yup. But the sunday games havent been played. Dallas wont make the playoffs. I'd put money on it. Their schedule brutal. Road games against Pitt and Baltimore. Home against the Giants. B_R_U_T_A_L

Dallas. :biglaugh:

What a friggin' joke that team is. Once again, they were totally overrated after beating a Giants team whose own season is coming off the tracks.

The Ravens put a turd in the punchbowl. Priceless!

I wouldn't even say that the Giants were coming off the track. They were without Jacobs and their game last week didn't really mean much anyway. As long as they take care of Carolina at home, they have home field throughout the NFC playoffs regardless of the outcome of their game last week. They had nothing to play for.

Well, I predicted a couple of weeks ago the Giants will stumble to the finish. Regardless of whether they win tomorrow, they peaked too early IMO.

Dallas is done. Romo is talking in the presser about how enjoyable Sundays will still be if they aren't playing because he will still get to watch the games.

That's not the type of confidence you need going in to a MUST win on the road against a hot team with another great defense. Sounds like he's already scared. The Iggles are gonna put him on the ground.

Atlanta, Tampa, and the Eagles would all have to go 1-1 in order for them to get in as the 5th seed. The Cowboys might get in but they wont be facing us

good. if we're going to lose in the playoffs, I at least want to have that really fun moment of endulging in the Kool-Aid before the game and during the brief moments to go crazy and hear that place rocking before we give up the inevitable 100 yard KR for a TD that silences the crowd. I'd also like to watch us play before a dominating home crowd. And I think we have a better shot against all those teams than we do against the Cowboys.

The potential of facing the Eagles is the only way I could see us losing part of the home field advantage. I don't see Tampa or Atlanta having that much of a following around here or having that many fans that would travel.

It's also possible for us to host Carolina if they lose their two remaining games and either Atlanta or Tampa also drop a game.

yeah, but even the Eagles fans never really dominated at SDS like Packer, Viking or Cowboy fan did. We may lose some seats to Eagles fans, but I don't think it'll be all that pronounced. agreed though that Tampa and the ATL DEFINITELY will be the least amount of opposing fans though.

Even better yet, the best possible scenario has us hosting the Bears. It's extremely remote as it would require the Rams to beat Atlanta and the Raiders to beat Tampa Bay next week. It's the NFL, but still.....

no thanks to that. That stadium would be 40-50 % Chicago and we'd be facing them red-hot.

I'd take the Bears in heartbeat. Knocking them out of the playoffs would give a very satisfying measure of revenge for the most heartbreaking loss we've ever suffered at our stadium.

Any team we face will be a good team but I agree with Cheese...Atlanta or Tampa would give us the best home field advantage...

While it isn't official yet, looks like the Cowboys will most likely be watching the playoffs from their respective couches
