Agreed Stout-----I know that the preseason games don't count, but they are very meaningful. Since it is Obeesko who is projected to be our every down pass rush OLB, he needs this time with the ones, AND Whiz needs to see what he has in him. We already know what Porter brings as a situational pass rusher, and the other prospective pass rushers are unknown quantities at this point. Let the kid play with the ones !!

Real good news. For some people (like Obei) they can see the smoke signals and hear the war drums in the distance...they know that may be a sign of a one way ticket out of town or a one way ticket in town for another stud...maybe he got the clue and is bustin' his physical and mental butt(s).

I'm excited about him still. When he plays instinctively and he isn't thinking too much, he's a quick, aggressive player.

I still think this year he grabs that spot and becomes a good starter.

The above link is an interview with Doug and Wolf and Schohawk. I found it to be entertaining and really like the kid.
