most of us don't have insider. i know you're not supposed to cut and paste a pay article, so could you maybe give us a synopsis? i'm curious what he has to say exactly about our additions and amare.

Same ole, same ole. Saying that we are a playoff threat without Amare, and the #1 title contender with him.

Classic journalese. For example, he notes Phoenix was one of the best defensive teams in the NBA with Kurt Thomas. Then he went out and the Suns were one of the worst defensive teams.

But, wait a minute, he just checked and discovered KT was only 6-foot-9, so the Suns' defense should be questioned either way. You can't be a good defensive team when your tallest guy is 6-9.

IMHO, the Suns have a challenging November, but if they start well they should be a contender for best record.
