After several outside free-agent signings were made by the Indianapolis Colts this past week, what does a three-round 2025 NFL mock draft now look like for them?

When it comes to roster building, the draft and free agency go hand-in-hand. What happens during the NFL's free agency frenzy can have a big impact on how the team approaches the NFL draft.

The Colts are a prime example of this, where GM Chris Ballard's additions in the secondary have made the cornerback and safety positions much less of a priority in the early going of the draft. However, losing Will Fries ramped up the need to continue adding to the offensive line.

So, taking into account the free-agent signings that have been made, what might a mock draft for the Colts look like now? Using Pro Football Focus' mock draft simulator, here is how things turned out.

Pick 14: Kenneth Grant, IDL, Michigan

Given what other mock drafts have looked like for the Colts, this pick is off-script, but bolstering the interior defensive line depth is a fairly big need. This is a heavily rotated position where depth is important, and right now, there are only five defensive tackles on the roster.

But in addition to that, the play behind Grover Stewart and DeForest Buckner last season from Taven Bryan and Raekwon Davis wasn't good enough. Opposing offenses frequently took advantage when Stewart and Buckner weren't on the field and, at this time, I can't sit here and say the duo of Neville Gallimore and Adetomiwa Adebawore will provide the kind of upgrades the Colts need.

Grant, who is listed at 6-3 - 331 pounds, has played just over 1,000 career defensive snaps, most of which have come over the last two seasons. He's showcased the ability to get after the quarterback, generating 50 pressures and eight sacks during that span.

His greatest impact, however, came against the run, where he ranked eighth among all defensive tackles in 2024 in PFF's run defense grade, and he was tied for 25th out of 194 eligible defenders in run-stop rate.

Pick 45: Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami

Tyler Warren was off the board in the first round, and with the talent in this year's tight end class, I opted to pass on Colston Loveland at pick 14.

Arroyo can very much add that pass-catching presence the Colts need at this position. He's able to line up both in-line and from the slot, is a good athlete, and showcased his ability to create space at the Senior Bowl.

This past season was a breakout year for Arroyo. He finished the season totaling 590 yards on just 35 receptions--that's an average of nearly 17.0 yards per catch.

Arroyo would rank second among all tight ends in yards per catch (16.9) and was first in average YAC. He also caught seven touchdowns and was reliable, hauling in 75% of his passes.

Pick 80: Marcus Mbow, OL, Purdue

Interior offensive line depth is a need and the Colts also need to find a swing tackle. Mbow could potentially provide help at both.

Playing right tackle last season, Mbow allowed 25 pressures and three sacks, according to Pro Football Focus. Out of all tackles, Mbow ranked 31st in run-blocking grade as well.

Mbow played 1,167 career snaps at right tackle, along with another 668 at right guard.
