If the Cards don't self destruct we can hope for the best. For my money Oakland looked better last week than San Diego did and we would have covered 6.5 against them even if the Sea Bass could hit the broad side of a boat. SD beat Jax at home by 25 two weeks ago, but lord help us if we're not better than the Jags.

Of course with Breaston out it gives me pause.

He blew up any chance we had this season with his BS "chemistry" experiment with DA and we get to watch it all go down in flames in spectacular fashion. Get ready for more games like the Falcons game because if we were given a gift with the Raiders game at home we know we are going to have our ass handed to us on the road and at home against any good team and barely be competitive against the bad teams. This team is as bad as any Mac team and just as poorly coached. Call it like I see it. Smoke and mirrors.

It simply took time for the DG players to get up to NFL speed and for Kurt Warner to take the reigns of this team and take it to new heights. It makes perfect sense. Only thing Whiz had to do was get out of the way and let Haley and Warner operate...to his credit after the first couple of games he did and last year Warner had free reign. The D has never been fixed...only Warner made this a playoff team in a bad division. 4 years at the helm and he wasn't able to do anything but ride Warner to wins. He is no better than Mackage.

Wiz lead the resurgence here. Warner was here for two years as part of a laughingstock, after having already been canned by two teams. But you're right, I did eat crow. Once Wiz got here and figured out how to get the best out of Warner and helped Warner turn it around, I gave Warner all the credit in the world. You should try it sometime.
