Just a thought. Does anyone think the Suns might be interested in Rasheed Wallace?

On the TV telecasts, Tom Chambers and others always seem to be saying good things about Rasheed... like he never has a problem with the other players or coaches and that he always plays hard and is also a good person.

Maybe I'm reading too much into these comments but it seems I've heard words to this effect from Tom Chambers without contradiction on a couple of occasions.

I'd be more concerned about whether their styles would be compatable.

My answer to that question would be No. :)

I agree about not trading JJ. He is still very young and has a chance to be a star.

Any thought about my previous comments on Rasheed.... not that I'm pushing for such a trade. Just curious if others had listened to Tom Chambers comments about Rasheed.

I like Sheed as an athlete for the Suns but I don't feel his attiude and history will keep him away.

Can anybody name one fat, lazy center that has turned things around and become a force in the NBA?

You have that backwards. Shaq is a force in the NBA that's turning things around by becoming fat and lazy.
I always thought he was a force, then fat and lazy, and now he's back to being a force.

---------------

Sir Charles was a fat, lazy 6' 4" pf who wasn't bad. Don't think Curry has his talent, though. Actually, I can't think of many players at all who have his talent. If Barkley had MJ's work ethic and desire, I think he'd have been one of the top ten or fifteen players ever, instead of just being one of the top ten pf's ever. Good discussion for a different thread, perhaps.

on rasheed, let see. he has a history with drugs, not getting along with teammates, just being a pain in the backside to whatever team he plays for, but is loved by all of his drug buddy teammates. yea i can see the suns bring him in for all of those reason, NOT.

I agree but even his drug buddies don't like him now.
