Just thought i would post a few pics from the weekend of Mrs English and I representing the Cards....oh and me and the Roger Goodell.

Great weekend down in London and rounded off sitting drinking in the Sports Cafe watching us beat the Giants.

Great Pics. Back in the mid to late 80's I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath which is about 70 miles Northeast from London if I remember correctly. The Cowboys and Bears played a preseason game in the old Wembly Stadium. The stadium was filled with a lot of the GI's from Europe. It was a blast. The new stadium looks fantastic.

just curious....

I can make out some of the wording on the Cardinals poster behind you in the first picture. I presume the NFL had a poster and "blurb" on each team. I'm curious as to what they wrote to "summarize" the Cardinals. Do you have any other pictures that show the rest of the wording?

Hey English!

I was also at Wembley. Not a great game, but indeed a great show! All the fire and firework. All the things for the fans, like cheerleaders and stuff on the bigscreen. I think it was fantastic.
I am pretty sure your trip to the NFC Champhionship game was better, but this was my first experience at a NFL-game. If possibly, it only made me want to visit University of Phoenix Stadium even more! :)

Great pictures by the way. Hope you also had a great time!

There great photos English and if you look real careful you can see me over your left shoulder third tier up ten rows up from the right hand 'coaches?/commentary' boxes just left of the 50 yard line, I'm the one with the Arizona Cardinals Tee and sweatshirt combo :D

Good work Ben; it was good to see some Cards fans at the game. I was there in my Tillman jersey; we didn't see that many Cards fans considering we just played in a Super Bowl; however, the stadium was crawling with Pats fans!

Hope everyone who went had a great time :)

I did actually push a bloke out of the way the get the picture (he did have a niners jersey on mind you). The man himself had about 5 'minders; around him and was only there for a minute or two so was pretty luck to get the picture.

We sat in row one at the game, sounds good but the veiw wasnt up to much as Wembley is at pitch level and not idealfor NFL until about row 7 or 8. Louise did keep getting a good look at the Bucs' Punters arse though :D

Ancient history now, but it was sort of funny that the Patriots were playing in England. I was surprised none of the networks mentioned that (from what I saw). But then, I also wondered if Londoners were cheering for them because they are from New England.

But then again, it could just be because the Bucs are terrible...

There were gazillions of Pats fans there which suprised me a little as Tampa is a popular holiday destination but you see Pats shirts and tees everywhere over here...its amazing what a string of super Bowl wins can do for your popularity
