I agree with you wally! I thought starting Leftwich was a stupid move by Del Rio.

The Jags had been doing fine with Garrard at QB to close out the season. Start Garrard and if he "stumbles" then you have got Leftwich in reserve for an emotional lift.

Bad move Jack, you could have beaten the Patriots...

It wouldnt have mattered who played QB on Saturday, Jack Del Rio's job is no where near in jeopardy.

That being said I think he made the wrong decision as well.

That was a scary similar decision to the one Marty made way back when going with Elvis Grbac who had been hurt for like 8 games over Rich Gannon in the playoffs.

Same result, a loss.

Coaches are funny that way, they lose their mind in the playoffs sometimes and he did.

Garrard, you must be talking about. I wouldn't exactly consider him a hot QB. 6 games, 1000 yards, 4td's, 1 int. Outside of the Colts, combined opponent W/L record of 21-59. No team with more then 6 wins. Not exactly probowl stats.
