The Los Angeles Lakers have lost three games in a row after winning eight consecutive contests, and the biggest culprit for them has been their lack of good health. Their entire starting frontcourt, which consists of LeBron James, Rui Hachimura and Jaxson Hayes, is injured and out of action, and even worse, they started a stretch of three sets of back-to-back games in eight days on Thursday.
They will wrap up a four-game road trip on Friday with a contest against the Denver Nuggets. It looks like another loss is in the cards for them, as Luka Doncic will not play in this game.
Even worse, forward Dorian Finney-Smith and guard Gabe Vincent are doubtful.
Doncic just had arguably his best game so far as a Laker on Thursday. He scored 45 points on 14-of-27 field-goal shooting and 7-of-13 from 3-point range, and he also grabbed 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.
The Lakers next game will be on Sunday afternoon versus the Phoenix Suns at home.
