Last night Marion did a very good job on Parker. He was helped by KT's ability to play Duncan straight, which left Amare back as a shot blocker, but it was still remarkable achievement.

The main difference between Marion and Cedric is that Ced knew what kind of player he was. He didnt think of himself as a future Hall of Famer with the ability to carry a team, whereas Marion has this ego that makes him think that he is KG or TD, which he is not even close. Marion is barely an allstar, which puts him on the same level production wise as a Marcus Camby or Rashard Lewis, he is no better than Richard Jefferson either, yet he thinks he is on the same level as players like D-Wade or LB or even Melo. that is my biggest problem with Marion, he should never get a pass outside the paint, he should be told to camp around the basket, fight for offensive rebounds and tip ins, and if he doesnt get those then SPRINT back on defense. Yes Marion complains which is clear reading any postgame interview or 7 seconds or less, in which he always mentions being the third wheel, well guess what, I wish we had our fourth wheel back right now in the third spot because JJ is a much better BB player than Marion and could handle the PG duties also, Marion is a worse ball handler than amare.

If you have been reading alot of sports, all signs point to Marion getting the axe along with our atl pick given the right player... KG or Durant. I hate to say it but if we don't have an impressive victory tonight, than this series is over, its GUT CHECK TIME and to be honest the most important player for us to do well may be Marion, which is what annoys me so bad.

JJ is a much better BB than Marion? If you really want anybody to take anything you say serious then you gotta stop saying such funny things.

:biglaugh:

You take Marion off this team, let JJ start at his position, we are fighting for the 6, 7 or 8th spot in the West. Marion's rebounding alone has kept us in more games this season then I can count. How many times have we seen the Suns barely keep up in the rebounding department only because Marion is getting 15 to 20 of those in a given game? Really.....JJ? :doi: You gotta have more credibility then that.

Maybe he is talking about Joe Johnson?

Even if he is, Joe doesn't get you anymore rebounding and the Suns would get murdered every single night on the boards twice as bad as they do some nights now. Joe is a SG with PG skills. Not a SG with SF/PF rebounding skills. Still just as funny.

I assumed he was talking about Joe Johnson since he said he wanted our 4th wheel back and that he could handle PG duties. James Jones, Jumaine Jones, Joe Johnson, throw any JJ name in there and the comment is still absurd. While I like Joe Johnson he is not the ballplayer Marion is and never will be, imo and the Suns also I guess.
