Minnesota traded a 1st & 3rd for Bradford. He's not going anywhere.

I think they are worried that Bridgewater isn't going to be able to come back from his injury. I wouldn't touch Bridgewater with a 10 ft pole until he proves that he has fully recovered. If I remember correct they were not sure if he would be ready for the 2017 season.

Someone of the Cardinals' website is suggesting we trade for Blake Bortles---and thinks the Jags like a QB at #3 in the draft. Says that Keim loves Bortles and that BA could turn him into a bona fide winner. Anyone's thoughts?

I don't know, Mitch. While Bortles does intrigue me, he's one hell of a project. Does Arians have what it takes to train that bad mechanic out of him? Can he rehabilitate his QB psyche?

Bortles, to me, would be a Jim Plunkett type of reclamation. He would need to sit for a year, or two, and just relearn everything...mechanics, mental...everything.

Sure, If Arians would totally retool his offense for the small stature QB and provided we could all be on the same page by the time he retires, and he would probably cost more than Palmer and probably would not be able to take the hits Palmer has... Brady or Big Ben are the only old farts I would dump Palmer for among the 40 year old QB route

Brees can make ALL of the throws. This big QB issue is a fallacy. He signed Stanton to the Cardinals as his first signing.

If Carson wasn't on the team and Brees was a possibility, we'd better go after him.

To play devils advocate Bradford does have the highest completion percentage in the league at 71.6% just behind him is Brees Ryan Dak and Cousins

What would you give up to get him just curious? I'm not much of a fan

Bartles coming into the draft intrigued me but watching him lately he is a major project. Mechanics are a mess. Maybe BA can help him but I would not give up anything more than a 3rd or 4th for him.

Bortles could very well get released, depending on what the new regime thinks of him and who's available in the draft. May not have to give anything for him...or very little.

On a side note, if he continues to play poorly and throw picks, etc...he could have one of the funniest nicknames ever: Bortles & James. At least Michael Floyd would approve.

Are we really talking about Drew Brees? Yes the dude is awesome but he's under contract with the Saints and means twice as much to that franchise than Fitz does to us.

+2 hells to the no on Blake Bortles

He has failed twice to live up to big contracts (Buffalo,NYJ) and has never made the playoffs. He ain't worth it.

He wasn't always that way. He had like ten different OC's his first 5 years in the league. I watched him a lot with the Rams. He has a strong arm & can make the deep throws with accuracy.
7 years of failures with Bradford at QB says he is just another QB who isn't all that good. Case closed

His failures are due to injuries. Nothing more. I stated as much in my original post. Case closed.
Gimme a break. He's been one of the most overhyped QBs in the NFL the last 10years, & his W/L record says so. Bradford hasn't ever been close to a playoff berth & I can't honestly think of 1 year where any of his teams were even fighting for the playoffs in December.

All of the supposed talent in Stl, Philly & the supposed savior in Minny right? Not sniffing the playoffs, turnovers left & right, constant check down passes and teams keep shipping him from team to team. It's all due to injuries. Lol try again

Bradford's rookie year the last game at Seattle whoever won that game was division winner. Of course the division was crap and Seattle won and won the division with a 7-9 record. Then beat New Orleans in a Home playoff game
