I have a sneaky suspicion that BC is going to haunt the Suns and give it to Sarver any way he can. BC is already showing his power.

NastyOne said:Wow he beat us to John Salmons, who cares.
I still don't like Salmons for the money he would've gotten from us anyway.
So BC saved us from doing something dumb that we would regret in a couple years.

Nasser22 said:Revenge is really going to suck. I won't really mind if we win a championship this year though.
Nasser22 said:That trade wasn't bad at all for the Raptors. TJ Ford will be great for the Raptors and they obviously didn't like Villanueva. BC is a good GM and I could see him haunting us in the future. When Nash retires and Sarver shows how pathetic he is at least i'll have that "I told you so" while we are all crying on this board together. Salmons would've been great for this team too no matter what you want to believe. All players are overpaid, big deal. You don't get anyone by being frugal.

Wait till Colangelo lands a true impact player away from the Suns before we all begin to think that we're getting schooled by the old boss.
Don't get me wrong here.. Good player, yes.. Difference between the Suns and Toronto winning a championship? Probably not. Basically, he picked the chance to get regular PT over spot duty. I know some of you are itching for a move, but 23 million over 5 years (4.6 mill per) is a bit high for the 8 or 9th man off the bench, wouldn't you say?
The Ford-for-Villanueva deal was at least at this point, fair. If Ford can remain healthy and can stay on pace with the performance he had in the first half of last season, it'll prove to be an even better deal for Toronto. I don't agree with trading Charlie V, but at the same time, with Colangelo purging pretty much anything from the Rob Babcock Era, you sorta knew it was just a matter of time before V was shipped out too.
At this point, the verdict is still out on that deal.
