We don't need Ryan Kerrigan, we have LaMarr Woodley .

Actually, with Okafor coming back next week, he'll take Woodley's spot and Golden will keep starting on the other side and we rarely have to see Woodley on the field again.

The pig headed part is saying that the roster is fine. The better thing to say would be something really gray like "I don't want to rule out anything. We're always on the lookout for anyone who can help this team win, but we doubt there is anyone available who could make a direct impact." Or something like that. To imply that the roster is fine the way it is reeks of smugness.

Eh, he doesnt say anything to make the fans feel better, nor should he. He says things to keep his current guys confident in the abilities, while more than likely ALWAYS looking for ways to improve as has been his MO since day one.

Could you imagine a front office or coaching staff that said things in ways just to make the fan base happy???? That would be ruinous to the locker room.

But what if we can trade a 4th for a Ryan Kerrigan? A player that can be here a while? Wouldn't that be worth it?

The Redskins signed Ryan Kerrigan to a 5 year contract extension just 90 days ago

I feel pretty confident in saying that the Redskins are not listening to offers for Ryan Kerrigan

I think John Brown, Michael Floyd (I think the kid is good), maybe JJ Nelson and certainly David Johnson and Ellington if used right are skill players which have a future :)

I didn't say none, I said not much. I just want someone who can pressure the QB.

We're talking the Deadskins here.

i just dont think you give a guy a $16 mm signing bonus and 90 days later trade him for a 3rd day draft pick --- assuming its even possible with the cap hit to the Redskins

I just read Keim's entire quote and he makes sense. Teams just aren't willing to trade edge rushers and if they were they'd be asking too much.

A 4th and 7th? Didn't Washington take him in the first round?

We're just throwing stuff out. [emoji3][emoji106]I have no idea what it would take. They value picks so dang high... Nothing will happen anyways lol
