I dont us to be like them Seahawks fans.. Nothing bad happened.. Both teams fought a tight game.. Thats about it.. To me, there are no conspiracy therosies..

We fought a good fight.. We came out with the jitters.. Overcame them only to lose.. That was the game.. Valuable experience.. Now lets get back and with a couple..

I think Gee's post was great hopefully the trolls will be banned by morning and we can all co-miserate the loss.

I agree, with Gee that it was a great game. Through a homer's eye I can see where there are complaints and this and that. And that is understandable.

Our main site has a good story of our solemn team licking its wounds. They know they can play a better, cleaner game then they played last night, but they did give it there all. And I agree the effort, and intensity was top notch.

It took a fastastic one in a million throw, and great catch to finally beat us.

I personally was just going to read and keep quiet, but the trolls got under my skin. F-Them.

But I am proud of the team, and proud of the fans and the organization. Time to think about what could have been and come back in a couple of days and start off season talk (since we are happly behind schedule on that! :D )

Heal up guys, and come back stronger then ever. We must all think of this as a start to something even bigger.

GREat great game. We had our taste. Now it's time to finish it next season.

I'm emotionally spent, but for being a Cardinal fan, to come 35 seconds short of winning a Super Bowl, before this season would have been a miracle of God-like proportions.

However, that 100 yard INT TD was very much shades of the old Cardinals. I'm glad we were able to overcome that and not lay down.

I am definately bummed at the loss -- particularly coming so close

at the same time -- there are many, many worse things in the NFL than losing in the Superbowl in an overall well played game.

I think (and really hope its the case) that the biggest take away from this season is that a team full of guys who have never experienced success now know: "this is what it takes to play high level, elite football"

Think about it: when you think about who the Cardinals "core" players are, how many have been on playoff teams that went deep into the postseason prior to this year? Warner and Edge on offense, Bert Berry on defense and Sean Morey on special teams are all I can come up with. It shouldnt surprise any of us that this was a team that didnt handle clinching the division in early November very well.

So -- my hope is that this team now understands how to prepare, focus and play good teams in hostile environments on a week to week basis. Given any sort of reasonable off-season -- I makes me look forward to 2009.

We regressed to some old bad habits in this game: penalties, soft zone coverages and the "Prevent the win" defense.

But nevertheless, it took Pittsburgh 59:25 to put us away. Not bad for the "worst team in the playoffs" we gave them more of a run than the Chargers and the Ravens did combined. Further, we put up more yards on them than did any team in the season. Something for us to hang our hat on.

Having a sip from the fountain only makes me want it more. We have got to keep this thing together and make another run at it next season.
