It Is Officially Super Bowl Sunday

After all the hot air expoused by the bloated heads and the back and forth banter between fans it comes down to the big game. If there ever was a team deserving a break from the gods it's the Cards. I hope we punch them in the mouth on the first play of the game and never let up until the final whisltle. Can you believe it....the CARDS are playing in the Super Bowl!!!!

I slept from midnight till around 3. That's all I need. My son got up around 5 (though he missed his nap yesterday and went to bed around 6:30) and he and I watched the 1 hour condensed replays of the Atlanta and Carolina games. We are making breakfast now for the girls who are about to wake up and after that we are gonna watch the Eagles game.

Last night, I ended up watching Batman Begins again (for about the 10th time) just to take my mind off of the game.

I have no idea how long I slept.. I do know it was 3 am when I did fall asleep.. But I kept waking up every 46 mins or so and it would take me awhile to fall back asleep.. Just woke up again.. This time for good..

Slept like a baby but up early this am and ready to go.

Soon I'll begin assembling the shrine, have all the eats ready to go, steaks for dinner then a batch of hot wings and chips and dip, beer etc.

This is going to be a long day but the game will get here soon enough.
