The summer brings out the best in us, huh?

:)

Soon the season will be in full swing, and we can talk about Basketball.

eh - it's football season baby! NBA doesn't start until after the Super Bowl as far as I'm concerned! I'm just stoked sports starts again come Sunday!

I feel bad for people that aren't huge football fans...

I don't think getting TT back was that important. I don't particularly trust in his focus or work ethic. If we are healthy, there isn't much PT for him anyways. I think George could have said it a lot more succinctly, but basically I think it boils down to our core 3 players staying healthy and having great chemistry again. If that happens, the rest of the players will fall into place.

i like when things get pointed out here. its freaking refreshing!! i have definitely played the background a lot on this site and the ones before, and there is always someone with a slick comment or remark about any and every OPINION. they are never wrong(yeah right). i say get back at them harder than they come at you. we are all men here and should be able to say whatever we feel without someone thinking that THEIR OPINION is better. half of the time the person doesnt seem to have a clue but just continues to run his mouth like they are the know all be all, what the hell ever!

And all this from a 2 word tongue-in-cheek reply.

Thank God is right for football...

Ugh, I can't believe you actually posted this tripe.

I guess it's convenient that you don't have to police yourself, eh, Mike?

Plenty of people police me here, heck, some people have CHANDLER MIKE SUCKS in their signatures...but I doubt you'll get many thinking I was wrong with this post.

Chaplin...there is a reason this has followed you around for like 4 years now...people say the same things about you over and over...yet you continue to post with the same attitude.

I just wish the Suns board would get along more and stop the bickering and little insults. Little remarks like "Breaking news!" are just pointless and needless in this context.

It might be nice if we talked about basketball, but at least we seem to getting some activity. It was getting awfully quiet. :bigyawn:

Sorry George, I just appreciate all the content you put up here and articles you write, and it burns me up when I see stupid comments...

We are adults...there are ways to talk about things without backhanded insults.

in defense of Chap - you all KNOW you were thinking the same thing! Besides, if he didn't day the above, we'd have nothing to talk about! This has been the biggest thread in weeks!

Listen, I'm going to apologize to Chaplin for publically insulting him...I shouldn't do it, but sometimes he brings it out in me and I can't help it. We have a long history together...

At the same time, we need to respect people on here. No need for little snide remarks that are little digs at people.

And also, if you have problems with people on here, please let me know...I can't possibly keep up with all of this and I don't want stuff going on that I don't know about.

There was no malice intended in that little 2 word post, yet it has exploded into something more. For that, I DO apologize--it wasn't intended to be disrespectful. And I think most everyone knows that. I thought it was kinda funny.

I do not apologize for responding to Chandler Mike's personal attack, however. This isn't an isolated incident. What bothers me more is that it happens all the time--I agree, probably more than it should--but it does and yet I am the one that is publicly attacked. Frankly I'm tired of this issue, so I'll kindly let the rest of you argue (or agree) over it.

I thought it was one of your better posts, Chap - it was definitely sarcastic but it did have a touch of humor.

It probably wouldn't have amounted to much if Wasted Fate hadn't gone over the top in defending George. Then a semi-absentee chimed in, and in the guise of defending you, ripped George's posts unmercifully - his posts in general, not just the one. That is what set the truly ugly tone the thread took on.

Sheesh, the board would have been dead as doornail this summer but for George starting up threads. I also have to give George high marks for his calm responses to all the verbal brickbats we throw at him - I know I throw my fair share of them.

You're right, I should have stayed out of it. I apologize for inciting ugliness.

I'm sorry I helped this thing go bad as well...the comment was probably not as bad as I made it out to be, it's just the history between us that likely made it seem more.
