Let us put the blame where it really belongs. This game is totally on the coaches. Where was our NO-HUDDLE Offense...??? Now that is on the coaches. Lack of Urgency.

1) I love this thread, it's equal to a meltdown. We only lost by 1 TD in a road game to a playoff team. I think we're fine.

2) Chicards11, judging by your post, it looks like Pacman and Mrs. Pacman had a lot of crazy kids :D

agree...!!! But the coaches did do a bad Job...!!! I am waiting for the lets bring Jake bad Crowd to chime in.

in the "top 10 over reactions to this loss" threads -- this one is in there

Trust me, I'm not at all overreacting. I've been in that stadium too many times to expect anything different. We could have easily won that game, but me made too many mistakes. The difference is that if we made those same mistakes in the past, we would have lost 35-3. With our talent & depth, we can beat anyone, anywhere. I'm EXTREMELY excited about where this team is going. Having lived in that area & being married to a Skins fan, makes it extremely frustrating to lose to them ba$tards.

Kurt has 6 TD's to 1 INT and is completing 64.3% of his passes. His QB rating is 111.7. Kurt's YPA is 8.9, the second highest of his career.

Bench Warner? Man, that would be dumb. Whiz would completely lose the team if he did that.
Not to mention his 1 int was off a deflection.

I did not say we need to bench Warner this week or next week, or the following week.

I know this will rile up the masses, but we're a game or two from this inevitability.

Perhaps your definition of inevitability is different than mine...either way, it's a ridiculous thread, and a complete overreaction to yesterday's game.

Somewhere in all of this was a comment I agreed with: I think we should get RB JJ Arrington back in the game. If he can play, he can play. He has shown some explosion. We need some speed in the backfield.

While I dont agree entirely with what PA had to say, I do see why so many people get frustrated with these two guys. I said it yesterday when I was upset and I say it again, for all the good they do they have plenty of weaknesses. I'm not here to dog on them, so dont jump on me... But, how long can Warner stand in the pocket without having an internal clock. Kurt, you can't scramble, so you need to know when to get rid of the ball. That inability to be able to scramble also kills so many drives. It really does. Some of the biggest plays in a game are when QB's have to create outside of the pocket and Warner never does... Simply, cause he cant. And Edge cant get to the damn edge to create anything either and his lack of speed hurts as well. He really doesn't really hit the hole hard enough and Grimm and Whiz need a smashmouth, quick bursting, back with speed. Just my two cents...

He's NOT going to NY this weekend. His daughter is being baptized on Saturday & we'll have family in town until Sunday. Could mean only 1 thing - 3-1 BABY!!!!!!!!

Relax Frances. I did not say we need to bench Warner this week or next week, or the following week. All I'm saying is that if Warner is mediocre (like yesterday), it won't be long that Leinart will get another shot. Warner had a great 1st two weeks & he'll have to remain GREAT to keep that job through this season. Regardless of how Leinart looked in the Oakland game, he is ready to lead this team. Mark my words - the next time Leinart sets foot on the field (unless its mop up duty), he will be a fixture. Bottom line, Warner has to be very good to stay on the field. Trust me my friend - I do get it.

Lol Have you read what everyone has said. The most ridiculous thread of the year. Dude he made 1 bad pass. If he leads Breaston he has a 76 yd td...so his sta would have been like 275 yds 3 td's 0 int's. It got deflected and it hurt. But to say we have to bench him is like, we might as well bench A DUb for not making enough big plays...Sub out Boldin for only getting 25 yds, and while we are at it...lets sit Fitz for a half for dropping the TD in the corner. Did you know Warner still had over 81 QB rating.

I think Hightower should be getting equal reps as long as the OL is run blocking well (if they regress, Edge should get the bulk).

Leinart? Come on. Warner is one week removed from a perfect game. There's no way the Cards should even be considering putting him back in at this point (and I'm a big Leinart backer and would have started him in game 1). Warner has more than proved his mettle. It'd take a lot more than mediocre (to fairly good) game to bench him.

On point.

Did anyone slow motion this to see if it was pass interference? I kept wanting to see this play replayed more than once because I wasn't sure if it was pass interference. Probably already been discussed.

It's not looking that ridiculous anymore, now is it!! Bring Leinart in & KEEP HIM IN!!! Warner will give away more games than he will win. I've been watching this game of football for way too many years to be called ridiculous.

Yeah, I am almost looking forward to the dump off passes from Leinart for 3 or 4 yards compared to a guy who sits in the pocket all day and will only look (and force) to throw passes that go for over 10 yards every play. It is too damn up and down all the time with Warner. You will love him one game and make you basically hate him the next. I have never felt like that about any player I have rooted for. Even with Jake here, I could live with his mistakes because of the fact, top to bottom our teams were just horrible.. lol so you really couldnt always put all the blame on him.

Leinart & Hightower??? Will not matter. This offesive line cannot open holes and they sure as heck can't protect the QB.

But how many lines can completely protect? I am sitting here watching the stupid cowpukes game and Tony Romo is running for his life, completing 15-20 yard passes.. and I think we all know that he has a pretty decent line. So, when you can only protect a statue back there in the pocket, it puts way too much pressure on those guys up front to do their jobs. Which is also unfair, regardless of how you see it, to them. Even Brett was running around back there today with at least some mobility. Not every pocket is gonna be protected, and as a quarterback in this league, you need to have your legs work. Warner's don't.

No line can completely protect. However, you can expect your offensive line to be competant. It's not like this lines problems are not multi-dimensional. They cannot open holes for the running game either. I am watching the cowboys open holes. Even though the Jets didn't run well today, their offensive line opened up some huge holes for the running games at key moments.

When is the last time you had seen that out of our line??? Especially against a good team?? It's not even comparable.

Our D needs to be responsible for much of this loss, just giving up way to many plays and no pressure really on Farve. I mean how the hell are we giving up long TD's on 4th down what the hell is wrong with this D. Warner didn't have a good half but you know what he stepped up his play in the 2nd half and the D continued to play horrible horible football!

Well, I know our line is not theirs. My only reason to respond on this was to point out the fact that when there is pressure and the pocket collapsed on Romo, the guy actually can make something out of nothing. Warner doesnt and cant do it. And to say that our line isn't even "competent" is kind of overboard, don't ya think?

Most good NFL Qb's at least can realize that one guy (Levi Brown) is having trouble and at least somewhat allow for that. Kurt is just a sitting duck back there if the protection isn't perfect, Kurt's going to get hit and in this game him getting hit equalled a fumble. I forget if it was Cheese or Ouchie who said it once about Josh, there's no rule that says a QB has to fumble everytime he gets hit.

As bad as levi was, at some point you have to hold on to the damn ball.

Our #1 problem IMO is still our defense. In spite of Warner's TOs, he still would have lead us back to a win if the defense could have stopped the Jets O in the 2nd half.

Yeah Russ I think Leinart would have done much better.... NOT! The Oline played terrible and the D was non existant the whole game! 5 second half TD's Warner came back and played well in the 2nd half, can't expect perfection when trying to come back from 34-0 I mean seriously. Warner IMHO still proved why he is the starter, because he can make the offense crazy good. Until Leinart stops just making the little check down throws he is not the guy to run this O.

This game is on the DEFENSE they stopped no one all day long! Did they even get a sack? Farve had all damn day to throw that is a problem and AW being out didn't help the D that never showed up today!!!

this game was on EVERYONE. Warner had 5 turnovers... IN THE FIRST HALF. The game was over at that point. I don't care what anyone did in the second when the Jets played prevent for 1.75 quarters until the D finally got a stop, only to see Warner turn it over again.

no one's blameless in this crap-fest of a game.
