It's becoming apparent, these players want Denny gone.

I thought Green was gunna be good for this team. I dont think he is a good coach at all. He makes NO adjustments, he fails to replace guys that are BAD. The only good thing he has done with his time here was have solid drafts & F/A pickups. This team has more talent then b4 he was here, but that doesnt matter if you cant turn that into wins.

Canning him wont help this year, but I still think its time.

Even much of his drafts and FA PU's have turned questionable.

I was in favor of hiring Dennis Green....but he obviously has to go....

I do recall some Vikings fan who hated Green ..was it Vikesfan?? He said all of this would happen.. I was glad he left the board..or was banned...whatever..but in hindsight....he was correct. This has reached the comedy phase.

VF thinks Green invented football. Wasn't him.

I think the ones most vocally unhappy about the hiring were Harley Rider, Tango, and myself.

I've been critical of the hiring from day one as have others. Even I didn't think Green would be this bad though.

Is there no mercy?

Must this discussion board be my only refuge being a Cards fan. Why can't our team be like the St. Louis Rams in football or the St. Louis Cardinals in baseball.

It's the curse of St Louis, I tell you, for taking their football team. The only way to cure the curse is to return the team, but how? Maybe we could load the team, coaches, management and ownership in the middle of the night and send them on their way. However, there must be a way to keep them from returning

Are you kidding. This team was already cursed when they arrived in St Louis. You have no idea how happy the people are that they are gone. I was one of the few to stay a fan. Couldn't help it so I suffer with all of you.

Sorry but it will be a great day. It has been apparent for about 2 1/2 seasons that Dennis Green is a crappy coach. Why only about 3 of us on this board saw it the whole time is beyond me. The other two being Mitch and Cubbie.

No, Shane, it's not "great" that yet another coach failed miserably here. It's yet another blackeye for the franchise.

In a "what have you done for me lately" league, this will be Denny's new legacy because he doesn't have the hardware to fall back on to validate his career as HC in the NFL.

As vehemently as I hated the hiring from day 1, I can say I never expected things to get to this point so quick. I figured he would have some success, gets fans hopes sky high with playoff appearances where he would then dash them because he cannot close out big games...now it seems he cannot even close out midseason games either.

Good riddance to Denny. He sucks.

BTW, his Vikings team quit on him in two consecutive seasons...once in the playoffs, and then the subsequent season. They knew he was full of crap and a deadend on the championship highway.

I was in there too, took a lot of flack as did we all from the kool aide drunkards.

Well, I'm not right that often, I've got to stick up for myself when I am... :D

Anyway you slice it it will be a great day when Green is fired. Blackeye for the franchise or not.

It's a great day so you can come on here and toot your own horn about being right. For the rest of us, it simply means we have to start over...again.

The irony and misery of being a cardinals fan:

The posters that are the most obnoxious end up being right.....we are talking about posters so obnoxious that they are banned forever...

Think our old friend (not) from new england (if we mention his name he will show up here picking fights)....he may have been from previous vesions of this board....Ever since he started taunting Cardinals fans (he lives in AZ) the Patriots have been on like a 6 or 7 year roll...while the Cardinals have somehow gotten worse...

Our other friend (not) who had the manlove thing going for Jake Plummer....while the rest of us were calling for his head...then he had the opposite feelings for Dennis Green (hated him)...probably kicked off the board for his extreme hatred of Dennis Green (or he left voluntarily...Tango). The Broncos have continued winning (not because of Jake)....while Dennis green has melted down.

Oh well...life of being a Cardinals fan.

Oddly enough, it hurts those of us who yelled the loudest more because we believe that, had the right guy been hired (whomever that may have been), that we would be excited as this team was making a playoff push because the decision-making would have been different so the outcome may have been the opposite of what it is now.

Being able to say "I told you so" is an empty feeling in this instance because it means a boatload of people...fans mostly...have had thei hearts torn out and the season ripped to shreds.
