Air Raid Warning!
There was someone blocking Kearny???
The sad thing is the announcers said Kearny wasn't even at full strength. They'd really be better off starting the USC O-line, and sending the current misfits to Siberia.

Oh, please. Why is Step still starting? He is horrible - everyone knows it all starts with the o-line, and the leader of the o-line is the center.
Both Edge are Kurt have said "we (read o-line) need to get better at recognizing the unexpected." Obviously the center is not making the right line calls and recognizing disguised blitzes.
If Green's tenure here does come to an end, I wouldn't put it past him to let all of the Cardinal sins be known to the NFL world. If it's true that the checkbook was closed after signing Edge. If Green wanted to go after more free agents, linemen in particular, and was told no. The danger would be that no other quality coach would ever think of coming here as long as Bidwill is the owner. I'm not trying to defend Green here. I'm just hoping that the organization is fulfilling it's pledge to do everything possible to make this team successful with the new stadium revenue. If not this team will never amount to anything and Green will be the last successful coach that ever took a chance here.
For those who don't I highly recommend listening to one game on radio to hear Wolfley during the game and lewis at the half talk about the OL. In a nutshell they said Atlanta rarely blitzes but they blitzed us at will because they recognized that our OL can't handle overloading on one side, and our QB doesn't seem to react to the blitz so they just keep doing it. Both Wolf and Lewis were all over the OL they said we keep changing coaches and get the same result so it's gotta be a lack of talent or effort or intelligence on the OL. We know the schemes they're using are used by 95% of the NFL teams and yet these guys can't figure out what to do when a team overloads a gap?
Pretty telling stuff.

I have been saying this for 4 weeks now. The book was written on how to beat Warner back when he was still in St. Louis. You blitz until he loses it. I would bet that the O-Line hates him, because he makes them look so bad.
A more mobile QB will help this line, not hurt it. A more mobile QB will help James, not hurt him. For my part, I couldn't be happier that Warner is sitting down. And the best part is that I don't have to endure McCown now that Warner is benched.

I hear that Loney guy is a top notch OL coach so I expect him to make adjustments to stop this issue from happening.
