At 39, he'll be lucky to break 40% of the snaps. He was just above 50% last year. The DL is crowded now! Lots depth now.

Campbell joins a defensive line that just got a big upgrade with free agent Dalvin Tomlinson to go with veterans Justin Jones, Bilal Nichols and L.J. Collier as well as draftees Darius Robinson and Dante Still

We did it!! I dont care what anyone says...fan input made a difference on this one. Calais such a valuable asset to this organization both this year on the field, and into the future once his playing days are over. You will never hear anyone say a bad word about Calais...just a true class act through and through.

Very very proud to be a cards fan today!

Good pick up if for no other reason than he’s a legit vet with a voice the young guys will listen to. Leadership is key for any team and Calais brings almost two decades worth of it to then team.

Even beyond that, 5 sacks and 12 TFL is still pretty solid and the TFL are more than I expected. The D-Line rotation should be much improved this season. That’s exciting.

With everything we added to our front 7 in FA, I’m guessing that our first pick ends up O-line at this point.
Could honestly still see our first pick being defense, even DLine. A little bit telling our top 30 visits consist of one OLineman that’s a 3rd rounder.

Not to mention our spot is projected is either Guards or Tackles possibly switch to Guard & I don’t see Monti wasting a 1st rounder on a Guard.

Sorry to keep flooding this thread...but this is the type of thing we need to try and go viral on the teams social media. We as fans, want to bring Calais back to play here and to retire as a Cardinal. It may sound dumb...but if Calais heres that...and hes looking at 1 more year, maybe it makes an impact.

He's a humble guy. Maybe he doesnt realize how well liked and remembered he is in AZ?? I would put him in our ring of honor for sure! Yes about 1/2 his stats came elsewhere...but he might end up being a HOFer
We did it! I dont care if we made one bit of actual difference...on this one I'm claiming a win for longtime cards fans and people who just want to see a really good guy get a chance to end his career on his terms. Im thrilled. I am going to bust out my original Calais jersey this season...and I'm going to buy my 4 year old son a 2025 version.

Very cool thing to happen today. Thank you for not toying around with something like this on April fools and having it be a joke...I would have been pretty upset if this was a troll job.

One of my wishes for this season is now this: i hope every time i see Calais...I see DRob right next to him and visa versa. DRob seems like a very dedicated person, and i feel like there is literally no better mentor for a young player to be around than Calais Campbell.

Im calling it right now...April 1st...no jokes...to quote Charles Barkley " i don't whistle when I walk past the grave yard or nothin"...

Calais Campbell is going to be a Walter Payton Man of the Year finalist, and might win it. And he is going to have a sack late in year that gets us into the playoffs.

def could be. I'd be surprised though with Jonah coming off late season injury and only one year left on his deal anyway. If there's a RT they really like there, getting bookends for the next decade would be pretty great for whoever the hell our QBOTF ends up being.

I mean, how can you not love this? Calais comes home and he’s still very productive.
It a solid signing and helps even more focus on OL in round 1. His leadership will be nice to have too. I hope he take Darius under his wings.

Can you not win it more than once?? I honestly didn't know that was a thing
I looked it up. You can win it multiple times. Prediction stands!!

Who better than a literal gental giant, who kas made a crap load of money, is probably going to the HOF someday...and might be entering his final year...all back where it all started. I think we're gonna see some cool stuff!
