Free Agency - Robaire Smith DT & Antoine Winfield CB
Tender Wilson, Hill, and Gramatica

Roethlisberger in #1. Or trade down for QB Rivers and either Hall/Gamble CBs

#2 - Darnell Dockett or Lavalais DT
I'll be happy with either. Who knows if character issues will deter them from coming here.

#3 - Keiwan Ratliff CB
the guy just makes plays. We've drafted on size/speed for years and where has it got us?

#4 - Bernard Berrian WR
can flat out fly. Hopefully he'll be here. Needs work at route-running but should come along. Deep-threat.

#5 - Michael Gaines TE
went to Central Florida. New QB coach could call in favor. Very raw with huge upside

#6 - Jorge Cordova DE/OLB
Could be Thomas Burke Jr. or a stud. Some say he is too small to play DE at 6'2 250. Maybe only on passing downs. 5 sacks vs. Washington. Could be situational pass-rusher we need.

#7 - Clarence Farmer RB
Yes, I'm a UA Homer. Yes, he could be a nutjob. Yes, he has the physical talent and ability to be a good NFL running back. Yes, he could not make it through the first week of training camp without being late for a meeting or practice. Yes, it's possible he hasn't matured in the past year. But in the 7th round, it's an inexpensive risk to see if he has.

There you go. Send to Graves ASAP.

Decent Mock

That's a decent mock.

My second one will be similar....although I'll probably flip a CB to round 2 and insert a homer DL in round 3 like Tim Anderson from Ohio State.

I actually really like the choice of Clarence Farmer. I've been saying since his sophmore year that the guy will be a stud. He's got some mental issues but if he puts his act together he can be a gamebreaker at RB. In the 6th or 7th rounds I think it's worth a risk.

My homer pick would be Shaun Phillips DE Purdue. Guy is a great pass rush specialist and played decent against the run in the Big 10. Like Rosevelt Colvin and Akin Ayodele before him, he could be a very good LB as well.

"Hehe. And what does he say?"

"He don't say nothin' he just gives you that look. You know he's got that look. Don't he?"

"Yeah. He just gives you that look. Whad'you say your name was again?"

"Liddy. G. Gordon Liddy."

Only problem I see is that Ratliff does NOT last until the 3rd round.

His speed and size have been called into question by some. If he does not do well speed-wise at the combine he should fall to us in 3rd Rd. Personally I could care less about his stop-watch speed, he plays fast in games which is all that matters. Regardless, I think this is a very heavy CB draft and someone with talent should be available in this spot.

My mock I have the 1st 3 exactly as you have them. This is my wish list, but in actuality, don't know if it's going to happen. I have been on record on several threads here to pick up Dockett in the 2nd - but Levalais would be just as good.

I haven't heard anyone else mention this Jorge Cordova guy yet. If anyone has seen him play on TV or in person chime in. Everything I've read or heard about him is via internet and scouting reports.
