I'm sorry really but sugar coating anything isn't cool when it's Cardinal Football.

I'm watching the NFL network and watching Steve Young. I'm so glad our HOHer cb knocked him out.

And to add I'm so sick of the major networks never giving us props. Even when we were doing well it was always the common tee shirt wearers.

I HAAAAATE the Seahawks. My hate for them is visceral. I hate that stupid green they have on their uniform. I hate Pete Carroll with a passion. I hate Russell Wilson. I hate Robert Sherman. I hate Marshawn Lynch. I hate Michael Bennett.

I hate their chunky, pretentious, hipster fans. I even hate the rain because of Seattle

I have wished for terrible things to happen to them. When they won the Super Bowl, it was one of the worst days of my life, and when they lost, I walked outside to hear the shrieks of horror from their fan base as I cheered Go Patriots as loud as I could.

Last offseason, we had major props. Many had us as a shoo-in for the Super Bowl. We had All or Nothing. We fell flat on our faces.

This season, we're back to no one giving us a shot. A hopeless team. I love it. Love the doubters. The team and coaches love it. Keim even said he embraces flying under the radar, again.

Honestly, I've always felt uncomfortable when we got too much love. Now, we're in a great place to sneak up on teams and not be taken seriously.

Just leafed through a couple annuals at the magazine rack and surprisingly(to me, at least) the only two that were there had the Cards going to the playoffs; one as a wildcard the other as NFC West champs. Neither had us advancing passed the first round of the playoffs, though.

we get better when the underdog.
This team does play better when the underdog. Still can't understand where the team got the right to be over confident last year. They hadn't won anything and did not have that right. They need to stay focused and not take anything or any team for granted. Hopefully they have learned a hard lesson.

Do the Pats ever feel over confident? I highly doubt it. BB keeps them on the ground and hungry.

Fantastic- post of the year.

I was avoiding the last few minutes of their Super Bowl here in Phoenix actually depressed all those lime green turds would celebrate on our field.

The Wifey screamed and my night turned to elation.

The problem with being the underdog team is you can't stay that way forever if you want to consistently be a contender. This team needs to learn how to be a favorite and not need being in a underdog role as motivation. It's a change in mentality that needs to happen. One where they expect to be a favorite and expect to perform like a favorite.
