My top 7 problems that the Cardinals are having this year. Rank using the following problems. This is my order. After I thinking, the list could be much longer...DB depth...trouble winning on the road...etc...

1. OL Line - Is it injuries? Lack of talent? Coaching?
2. Coaching/Play calling
3. Red Zone Offense - Or lack there of
4. Injuries
5. Green's Ego
6. QB - No franchise QB
7. Running Backs - Lack of talent/experience

1) Awful offensive play calling
2) D wearing down in the 2nd half
3) No run game
4) Can't win on road
5) Red zone offenses and defenses (last year we were near the top of the league in red zone D and now we are near last I think)

1. O-line run blocking
2. O-line run blocking
3. CB especially after the injury bug. But if you are forced to start a rookie you have a problem (even with a 1st rounder)
4. overall concentration (too many mistakes and turnovers)
5. special team return and return coverage
6. TE's just for blocking is not enough

The running game. Stopping it and creating one.

If this offense gets any semblance of a constant ground game this offense would be scary good.

1. Running the ball
2. Stopping the run

everything else is a symptom, not a cause

run game
OL coaching
run defense up middle
CB injuries
overall coaching, too many signs team can't adjust during games, there's one "plan" and once the opponent adjusts to that, we're dead in the water.

O line- coaching and personell as of now

We lack a power back that can get a few yards on their own anyway.

Coaching X and O's on the offensive side of the ball mostly.

Poor personell decision making. Not moving up in the draft, not building the team to have strengths at the most important positions, RB, QB OL and DL.

1. Lack of cohesion with the o-line. It will take time.

2. Lack of run-stuffers.

3. We are not going to be a team that puts it all together until too late in the season to make a good playoff push.

1. There are 3 parts to a football game. Defense, offense, and Special Teams. We are by far the worse special teams, team in the NFL. YEAH YEAH YEAH Player, and Rackers kick butt. But when it comes to returning a kick and defending a kick were are by far the worse.

2.Injuries - Especially on defense.

3. Youth - At lot of young guys at key positions.

4. Team Chemistry - When was the last time the Cardinals had a solid group of guys at any position for 2 years in a row ? Right now only the WR's

5. The OL. Both G's and the Center are not playing well at all. Our one T is a converted DE, and the other Tackle is a 6million dollar false start machine. Ross......*ouch* just bit my tougue. I know most think we are awful at run blocking. But I also think we are poor at pass blocking too. McCown is just helping this poor OL since he can bootleg and avoid the rush.

6. DT's: GET DOCKETT OUTTA THERE!!!! Put him at DE. We need bigger, more physical DT's to stop the run. One at NT and one at the under position

7. No presence at the MLB position. And I mean NONE!!!!! NO tackles no nothing from that position.

8. 6+7 = No run defense

9. Red zone offense: check every post ahead of mine to read about that.

10. NO TE. None. I almost want to see Freddie Jones again......almost.

This is my Number as well. We are almost last in punt return yards allowed and by far the worst kickoff yards allowed. We are at 33 yards allowed per return which is last, The second to last team is 6 yards better.

What is the point in keeping all of these so called special teams studs(Morrow, Mayes, Eric Johnson) who serve no other purpose to this team yet we still suck.

And our Gunners on Punt return coverage unit are the worst. We have are one of the last teams in making other teams fair catch.

This game is about field position and inches and the special teams is the one holding us back the most when compared to the O or D.

Top 5 problems with the cardinals:

5. Anquan Boldin is actually human, barely. Yet his 500+ yards in 5 games isn't good enough for some people.

4. Can't stop the run consistently.

3. Can't run consistently.

2. RB/OL combination is the worst in the league. Tentative runners, crappy blocking.

last but not least:

1. 1925 Championship trophy rightfully belongs to the Pottsville Maroons.

Not Rugby but here goes.

In Punt return average we are at #21 at 8.2 per return

KO returns we are at #32 dead last at 33.8 per return, that's slightly skewed it's only 13 because Rackers gets so many touchbacks so the long return by the Giants inflates the stat, but if Rackers makes it returnable, we don't cover it well.

Rushing defense is 4.2 YPC which is 20th but we lead the entire NFL in rushing TD's allowed with 8 and only 2 teams have allowed more 20+ yard runs than us although there's about 5-6 teams tied with us at 5(Buffalo has allowed TEN).

It does not come any plainer than that. And I have to say there are some really knowledgable fans on this board. My hat is off to you all. The coaches have to get both of these lines playing better or we will never win consistantly.
