Yeah I watched this one on TV, the magic got SPANKED by AI. They had no 'answer' for him whatsoever. He was charging to the hoop at will, it looked like the magic big men were in slow motion. The Magic have really stunk it up in the past month, not even playing .500 ball. It seems like something has really screwed up the chemistry of this team. That said, I have to give props to AI for a fabulous performance. I love the guy... how can you not love a under 6 foot, 160 lb scrapper who brings it every night even though his team is destined for mediocrity?

I watched the game as well. He was just relentlessly attacking the basket. Earlier in the game the Orlando coverage showed a replay where AI clearly carried the ball several times and even took an extra step. Their comment on that was that it was going to be extremely difficult to guard someone as good as Allen Iverson if he is allowed to carry the ball and travel at will. On the other end of the court Steve Francis was extremely frustrated with the officiating. He probably had good reason as well. I mention this because the Orlando commentators really did not carry on and on about the officiating's effect on the game. It was nice to see after that Sacramento/Phoenix game.

He's at it again: 31 points at halftime.

Yeah, and it's kind of funny because Marbury was really trying to play defense, because if nothing else he doesn't want to get shown up by an opposing premier point guard, but there's nothing Marbury can do.

From the opening tip, Iverson was arguing every call/no-call, and if you're just a casual observer, you might think the guy is just a little punk who just throws a hissy-fit when things don't go his way, but he got a technical with about 6 minutes to go in the first quarter, and then after that the refs basically gave the guy any call he wanted.

Hell, I would argue relentlessly for 6 minutes if I could have the 3 refs in my pocket for the final 42.
