Hedo had the highest +/- of 24 in Magic's win over Spurs.

Even if he averages a +/- of 100 for the rest of the season and guides the Magic back to the Finals I will not regret getting rid of him.

Because he was brought here to be something he is not -- a Power Forward at 220 lbs. to replace Amar'e.

He is a Point-Small Forward and with a dominant Point Guard like Steve leading the team in minutes, Hedo's happy-go-lucky demeanor on the court turned to a frown.

Management certainly made a huge mistake bringing him here and the right decision to let him go.

Exactly. Even if he turns into an All Star in Orlando he was never going to be successful here. Orlando is probably the only team that would have traded for him.

Good for them in getting a C and pg out of the deal.

Too bad that the experiment here seems to have really messed with Goran's psyche. He is not mentally the same player he has been in the past.

I think a lot of it also has to do with the fact that he gets no calls. I think in every game over the past month there have been instance where he gets absolutely MAULED and there isn't a call. It's actually quite surprising to me, even with the reputation of NBA refs as it is.

Also, his free throw percentage is just awful--even as a rookie I haven't seen him miss so many. A point guard known for a nice jumpshot shouldn't have this much trouble shooting free throws.

Hedo with +33 in their Christmas day win over Celtics.

Hedo would have been successful on the Suns with Amare. Amare is underrated at "making teammates better", to use the cliche word.

Hedo would have been more successful on the Suns with Amar'e if he was not playing Amar'e's position -- Power Forward.

Same goes for Shawn Marion when he was here and Amar'e was moved to C.

In other words, Amar'e at C and either one of them at PF -- no. Amar'e at PF and either one at SF -- yes, they would have been better.
