Jackass 3D

Is the fact that it grosses out people a selling point for those that enjoy this movie? I know I'm not the target audience (and I'll never understand you young folk) but I am trying to understand the incredible appeal this stuff has. I watched the first Jackass movie and found some of it quite funny but I didn't enjoy that uncomfortable feeling that comes from watching many of the stunts. Do you enjoy that feeling or do you merely tolerate it along the way?

I tolerate the uncomfortable feeling and laugh that it is happening to someone else ... especially since it is of their own choosing.

Yeah there were a couple where I seriously had to cover my eyes or I would probably puke. It didn't help that I heard the girl next to me gagging. That had to be the most foul thing I had ever scene.

The mean streak in me wonders if this wouldn't work better with non-volunteers. We find you guilty and sentence you to 6 stunts on Jackass 4 might even improve the franchise.

Actually I read somewhere (can't find it again so I can't link, I'll keep looking though) that they are thinking of releasing another Jackass movie in a few months. Apparently they had a ton of stuff they never even bothered to give it to the studio. That said how good would the movie be? I'm sure I would laugh but if they didn't send it in there was a reason.

Ya, they did the same with Jackass 2, but just when they released the DVD...had a bunch of extra scenes. I guess this time they have enough extra scenes to fill another movie. Saw all of them on TV late one night and they said that 3.5 could be as funny as 3, just screened all the stunts and tried to find the best combo of funny and gross for 3. But I don't think they will actually film another one.

Hahaha, that would be funny to watch. Choice of community service or to walk the taser/catle prod gauntlet. Tough choice.
