If they get a trade exception they can use it to take on salary that matches the exception. It's how the Suns got Jones in the 1st place.

One thing is for certain though, giving up #24 to get rid of James Jones doesn't seem good even when getting 3M$ in return. Especially since we were supposed to get rid off Banks for that pick.

James Jones is relly redundant though. Grant Hill should take his starting spot and Alando Tucker should make sure he'd never get PT again.

I think its pretty obvious something has to come our way besides 3M$ cash. Philly got 3M$ and #42 for a later pick.
We should get something besides 3M$ for #24 and James Jones. Maybe a future pick at least.. or Jarret Jack or Martell Webster. Anything would be good..
