Jacksonville State fell 5-4 in a Sunday game at New Mexico State.
The Gamecocks fell behind 5-0 before scoring three times on a Kailey Martin home run in the top of the fourth inning and once on Martin’s solo shot in the sixth.
Jacksonville State dropped to 20-9 overall and 4-2 in Conference USA.
