Flagrant 1 on Donovan Mitchell.

Baynes clanks 2 free throws.

I am disappointed that Kevin Ray, who seemed to lessen his bad habits in calling
Game 1, is worse than ever.

He rambles on and on, doesn't call play-by-play and has now added the bad habit of
"Y'know" over and over. And he speaks in half sentences. About ten of them strung
together than this guy with 20 years of experience should do.

We're still considered a small market team, but the Suns could do better in the
play-by-play announcer department.

I'd rather see him going back to sideline comments during the game. He does a
lousy job of setting the pace in the booth.

I'll agree, Ray trying to describe the coach's challenge was rough. I like him better than the Albert brother they had a few years ago. I don't mind Ray usually but I'll admit I would prefer Leander.

Best yet, is it impossible in today's age to bring back McCoy and the simualcast?

Comparing anyone to Steve Albert (the runt of the Albert litter) -- the New Yawk Catskill
comedian -- isn't saying much.

He's the worst play-by-play announcer I've ever heard. But KRay is in over his head.

And yes, we are way past the day of the simulcast. And Al is getting on in years.
Each year could be his last as the radio play-by-play.

And, although many ASFN posters don't like Leander, I think he'd be a much better
choice. Tom made the mistake of trying to imitate Al's catch-phrases but, when he's
covered for Ray, he put it behind him.

He's comfortable to listen to and he knows what is going on in the game and is on
top of it.

Booker (14) and Oubre (13) are the Suns leading scorers.

Amazing that they are still in this game despite being clearly off. This is a game we would have lost by 30 last year.

Carter does some things well but he’s not much of a facilitator.

It's time for some wholesale substituting. Take out all these scrub refs and put in some pros.
