I was worried after the first 2 episodes, but this show is picking steam back up. I love where it is going now. What a great show with such a unique concept.

I'm just glad it got out of some of the small ruts it had in the first season. For so long it was formulaic in that it was simply one crisis after another, one per episode. If that's all the show was going to be, I would have gotten bored really quick. Well, it's not, and I'm not :)

Lovely. So we have a good show that isn't canned crap, with an exciting season finale in two days...and that's it. Great. Thanks, TV execs, for nothin'.

Good lord...the same thing that happened to Firefly. Put it in a crap time slot, then react amazed and disappointed when it doesn't perform. Idiots.

They did excellent yeoman's work ending the series in one hour-long episode. It wasn't perfect, but that's what you get when you have to simply wrap it all up. The timing was forced, but the story was good. You could see where storylines that were going to play out the whole next season were wrapped up at once. I enjoyed it, and I wish we had more. Sadly, I don't think any amount of peanuts will bring it back again.

I just watched the last episode.....I am so mad that this shows is not coming back. They could have gone so many different says. At least it ended with some closure.

I just watched the last show. Now I want to see what happens. Beck and those under his command are with the Rangers. Texas has the evidence and will probably align with the US against the AS. Alas.

Can Comcast Save Jericho?
April 7th, 2008 by Robert Seidman Email This
In a story in Monday’s New York Times by Brian Stelter who also runs the TVDecoder blog, it is suggested that CBS Paramount Television is in discussions with Comcast to save Jericho in a similar fashion as Friday Night Lights was saved by the DirecTV deal.

NBC liked DirecTV versus sticking it on a cable network because it felt that doing so would cannibalize 90% of the viewers who’d watch on NBC. DirecTV with less than 17 million subscribers is available to only about 15% of NBC viewers. As of Q4 2007, I believe Comcast was claiming more than 24 million subscribers between its basic and digital cable services, more subscribers than DirecTV, but not so many more that it should raise red flags around cannibalization.

I’m not sure CBS’ broadcast networks will budge on airing Jerich again, even if it gets a subsidization deal. Still it has to be good news for Jericho fans that such discussions are even being considered.

Was sick a few weeks ago so I was stuck in bed. I ended up watching about 10 episodes over 2 days on Netflix and got hooked. Just watched the finale and definitely wish they could have continued it.

I usually hate network TV shows but really liked this one.
