Isn't he really Matt Joyce who lost weight and is trying to catch on as a DB??

My dad used to say that if he had to put his life on a kick from 40 yards or less he'd want Jim B kicking it. He lives here in Madison, I have seen him out and about at Badger games a few years ago.

Bakken was apparently quite the athlete in his day as well. He was the emergency QB back in his playing days, and was quite a good punter (like a lot of kickers are, granted). He also used to take BP with the baseball Cardinals a lot (Red Schoendist - sp? said that he was a better hitter than a lot of guys on the team!), and he was the starting point guard on the Cardinals' off-season basketball team. And a good one at that.

In my mind, one of the greatest clutch kickers EVER.
