Sanchez has potential, but so far he has proven to be a subpar QB. He is riding the success of that defense. If the Jets D weren't so good they would be at the bottom of that division.

If you are referring to Dustin Keller he is one of the better young TE's in the league. I hardly think the Jets would cut him over one mistake.

True but how nonchalant and dumb can you be. I mean he catches the ball wide open and basically skips out of bounds with the first down marker right in front of him.

It looked like his momentum was carrying him that way and he didn't have time to turn it upfield. That play is on Sanchez, it's 4th and 10 throw the ball to the first yard marker, not to the guy running an 8 yard out pattern near the sideline.

Yea good point. But man Sanchez looks terrible. I mean they don't even look down field. I would hate to be a Jets fan. They are loaded on defense and their QB and offense will lose them 5 games they could win with even a sub par offense.

On Hard Knocks when Sanchez was in the QB meetings he looked either disinterested or just plain lost. He's going to be another Leinart/Alex Smith. The pro game just looks too fast for him.

LOL they went deep in the playoffs despite Sanchez. They had the number 1 ranked defense in yards, pts allowed, and 4th in turnovers forced. Sanchez stats were worst then Leinart's BY FAR. And we cut Leinart. Don't say the Jets are good because of Sanchez. He is terrible.

Let's be fair here. The Jets went deep in the playoffs on the back of their D that played very well and a RB who got red hot at the right time, not on Sanchez's QB skills. I am with Campos here I'd much rather have DA as a QB over Sanchez.

I loved seeing the Jets get their ass kicked!!! Rex & his players talked alot of smack this offseason & failed to realize the chances are slim of winning a Lombardi if you can't score. Sanchez is pathetic. He was blessed with an unbelievable D, great OL & great running game last year. One may say that he needs time to develop, but I disagree. He'll never amount to much more than an average QB in the NFL. DA may not be our QBOF, but I definitely prefer him to Sanchez. I hate the Ravens, but it was also good to see Ryan grimace all night. The Jets offense reminded me of the Cardinal offense under his Dad, Buddy. Like Father, like Son.

He's in the title of the thread and there are some who think Leinart gave the Cards the best chance to win. Watching the Jets game reminded me of what the Cards offense would have looked like this year. Sanchez may have made the playoffs his rookie year, but in 2010 DA is 1-0 and Sanchez is 0-1.

Nobody said They wanted Sanchez for the Cards.The issue was Campos said DA had potential and Sanchez didn`t.I disagree.You obviously don`t like him.Good for you.I don`t think DA is going to do jacksh*t this season.Thats my opinion.

I used to kind of like the Jets compared to a lot of other AFC teams. But, the hype about Sanchez last year turned me off. Then, the absurd level of hyping they have gotten this year has pissed me off. Especially because that blowhard Ryan brings back for me terrible memories of his dad.

I hope they go 1-15.
