Cassel started 15 games, had 3693 yards passing, 21 TDs with 11 ints...and had a 11-5 record.

And Kevin Kolb had much worse stats but still garnered a second round pick and DRC. The Browns tried everything they could to get Garoppolo. In four games he had over a 113 QB rating. Teams are going to pay big for him. That's still going to be at least something. For the Patriots not to franchise him would be incredibly stupid.

Ok...that is your opinion...if they do franchise him and trade him(not if they franchise and keep him) than I will offer to eat crow. We'll see.
