Unfortunately you have to pay him too. Saints slapped the non-exclusive tag on him. If only the Colts hadn't wasted their pick on T-Bust that would've been the perfect trade-partner with all their cap space.

I would give our firsts for the next two years to have one of the best players in the league and to help fitz. Don't think we can find that kind of money though.

There's no way the Saints don't figure something out with Jimmy Graham. It's all a moot point.

I would do the trade. The 2 first round picks are going to be late first round picks. The Cardinals would have one of the best offenses in the league. The cap is predicted to go up another 10 mlion next season. The Cardinals will be able to afford to pay the man. Imagine Palmer throwing to Fitzgerald, Flyod, and Graham. That would be awesome.

Why would any team want to give up 2 first round picks, especially when this year's draft is loaded. I'm not as big a fan of Graham as others are. In our division, he would struggle. He's a finesse guy! He was non-existent against the Seahawks last year because he doesn't like the rough stuff. He would also struggle against the Niners!! I wouldn't give up one 1st rounder, let alone 2!

But he shredded our top ten defense

Our top ten defense had a very average secondary, with no thumpers. Did you watch what Seattle did to him? I'm not the first to say that you have to rough him up & he'll disappear.

I'm not saying that he isn't a very good player. He's just not a good fit for us in the type of division we play in.

If that's your logic then no one in the league is good because no one had success against Seattle.

Yeah and Palmer completed only 52% of his passes with 4 interceptions. Awesome defensive performance. Not so much success on offense other than doing a great job of playing keep away.

Probably THESMEL's favorite game as the Cards running backs had 38 carries. :)

If I'm NE or GB, I'd make him an offer and have no problem giving up the picks. NE would be pretty hard to handle with Gronk and Graham lining up in the slots/TE.

Hey, those might be better accuracy numbers than Skelton or Lindley in college lol

2 #1's for a guy who is a one-dimensional player? He doesn't even block. Just because he managed to shred the Cards otherwise mighty D is no reason to froth over him and overpay. NOBODY is going to give up 2x #1 for him. Nobody.

How often does a guy need to block when he is lined up in the slot 2/3 of the time?

By that logic, if all he is is a slot receiver, NFW you give up anywhere near that much for him. Slot receivers are a dime a dozen.

If he's gonna play TE, especially in this offense, he needs to be able to block.
