Wilson did leave a mark earlier in practice though when he came on a blitz. Running back J.J. Arrington was supposed to block the runaway freight train that was Wilson. Wilson collided with Arrington so hard Arrington bounced backward, nearly into Leinart.

I'm shocked, Arrington getting knocked around the field? No way...

Im not surprised..

Actaully, I dont even know too much bout JJ other than he seems not to like to talk to anyone and he hides, ducks and runs from contact.. And when he does get contact he gets lit up..

Im so disappointed this dude is wearing a Cards jersey..

Other than that, who is he? He just seems like a bad joke..

not that I'm defending Arrington in anyway, but Wilson would probably have knocked anybody out of the way if he had a full head of steam going. The dude is a monster.

Uhm, he tried to block AW. Shouldn't we be seeing that as improvement? He didn't dive away or duck against QB Killah A-Dub. Sure, he got his ass handed to him, but have you SEEN Adrian Wilson lately? He's bigger and stronger now than he was last year, and he was unstoppable last year.

I wish we still had Navarre so he could get thrown into him and take him out.

Yeah, me too Cardinals Ken. I'd have ended Wilson's career right there, and I'd be the most hated guy on the team. Wilson is so lucky I wasn't supposed to block him.

Seriously, according to fanboy, Arrington busted a couple of big runs today. I think having him run, rather than block, better suits his skills.

JJ Arrington is one more reason to hate Cal. As if it didn't hurt that Mike Bell turned into a better pro, Arizona goes out of state and gets maybe the least effective pro runningback of all time. He can't block, he can't catch, and we all sure as hell know he can't run further than about 2.5 yards before diving to avoid contact. Can he return kicks??? We shall find out.

An Inconvenient Truth

Ironically, SF drafted Frank Gore at the top of the 3rd round and the Cardinals drafted Arrington at #44 overall. If the Cardinals had drafted Gore, they could have diverted the money spent on James last season to upgrading the O-line, which still seems to be struggling in training camp.

Hindsight is 20-20. It's hard to measure a prospect's heart. Arrington doesn't seem to have one.

So I take that to mean AW didn't get to Leinart. Success!! Way to block JJ. I think we should be concerned that AW let JJ keep him from getting to Lionheart.
