The thing is, if your 3rd and 1 or less the defense knows sneak is likely coming, especially if it's 3rd and 6 inches. It doesn't really matter if Kyler only went under center for sneaks and telegraphed it. It's hard to stop even when you know it's coming as JJ said recently.

Plus he should be under C anyway in those situations because even if it's a RB handoff it's easier for the RB to get the momentum and timng out of under C.
Yup.

Maybe, but I’d trust Colt with it. Despite what a handful of posters think, Colt is a journeyman back-up just happy to collect a paycheck. Little things and roles like this keeps their job. Colt hasn’t been keeping his backup job for 12+ years because he’s a good passer of the football, but rather for all the little things he does well AS a back-up. If he’s as savvy as all these people say he is, he’d have no issue executing a QB sneak well after 12+ years in the league.
I have no doubt Colt would have well executed a QB sneak, but would his body parts intact after that?

There’s little to suggest Watt is likely to make it through the season. Allen seems to be improving with age. If the money is realistic, I’d spend it on Allen. Watt is no doubt a warrior of the first order, but his body too often betrays him.

Allen is not a game changer like Watt.

He will go back to being average with Watt gone.

Everyone geeked about Watt and how he played against Denver last week…he was playing against a wretched OL.

Eh picking Nkemdiche over Chris Jones was the mistake.

Jones was bigger  AND more productive.
Chris Jones is a freaking beast.. will be a HOF and is the second best DT over the last decade to Donald. What a mountain of a man.

Yes, let's ignore what Calais received in FA, as well as the fact that the Cards made an offer that many thought was quite fair.
But a great FO, like the one in Baltimore, saw he could still play and compensated him as such. Thinking B'more was right. The thing that doesn't make sense is the Keim disregarded age and injury when it came to JJ. CC would've been a ring of honor inductee and is a fringe HOF player.

It was CC or Chandler. I'm sure the FO still had plenty of play in him. That's why they made him a decent offer. But you can't win them all.

I would forgive the Cards for their most miserable season in recent history if we were to re-sign JJ to a longer time deal.

He didn't go to Baltimore from AZ...he went home to play for the Jags.
