CBS yanked it off.
I have never seen a film with this guy in it where he didn't wreck it. The guys is a HORRIBLE actor, IMO.
Thank goodness he is leaving to go do crystal meth and exstacy all day.
Yeah.....keep chewing that gum buddy, nice to see you can't stay sober long enough to do a promo for the movie that is giving you millions of un-earned B.S. dollars.
I cannot stand actors, and musical artists like this that are SLAMMED down the publics throat and fed to the machine.
Horrible, absolutely horrible.
Letterman Falls for the Joaquin Sideshow

Joaquin Phoenix brought his phony stony act to David Letterman last night -- and while Letterman thought he was catching the wannabe rapper in an altered/inebriated state, it's Dave who was likely hoodwinked.
We've been on to Joaquin's scam for weeks now -- no doubt he's shooting a mockumentary with Casey Affleck ... pretending he's quitting acting to become a rap star -- even though his singing sucks -- and showing how the media will fall for it.
In Dave's defense -- he ripped the guy apart, ending the interview with "Sorry Joaquin couldn't be here tonight."

Letterman is known in the business to be a royal a-hole anyway, so Phoenix's little game got him a little more than usual.
Weird, I don't see it that way at all. He has always seemed pretty unique to me. He puts his work out there for people to choose to watch or not.

Eh, I could go on about it, how bad movies have become, how bad writing has become, the trade of talent for looks, etc., etc.
Call it what you will, but "a little game" is during another show's time.
To make a comment on another post. He almost made Gladiator un-watchable in my opinion.
The guy is a horrid actor, can't stand him.
I see this guy as a person who doesn't respect his business, and takes what he has for granted.
And I think thats why I like this dude.. Most actors want to push their political beliefs down our throats.. They think their crap dont stunk.. This dude is walking his own path and making fun of people (the media) while doing it.. Love it.. Dave fell for it hook line and sinker.. HA HA at you Dave.. scumbag..
There have been rumors that Joaquin is going to play an Andy Kaufman.
Well that was not well played.
You want to play Letterman?
This is how it's done.
