Stronso -

Look forward to being Mr Mom. I have had 9 great months to bond with my 4 and 5 year old that I never would have had I not been laid off. BUT, after 9 months, I am beyond ready to get my arse back to work.

School Superintendent. I always keep a financial spread sheet minimized to jump to when a board member comes by my office. It is a real sad situation being a lifelong Cardinal Junkie.

I wish I had known in 1988 what I wanted to do. I probably would have gone there. It took me a long time to figure it out.

Right now, I'm going to French Culinary Institute in Manhattan.

But if you mean gaycocologist - not a good job. (not that there is anything wrong with it).

I dunno, I just work here, and fumble around the best I can.

Actually I'm a retired Ballroom and Social Dance instructor, competitor, manager, and Studio owner.

Who Me?

That's my favorite line of the infamous Beetlejuice from Howard Stern fame...."Who me?".

Actually I'm a pearl diver in Yuma (old George Carlin joke).

But seriously folks....I'm a retired teacher/school administrator who spent all his frikkin money on trips and toys and guess what Shriners?......I'm teaching full-time this year!!!

Go figure.

I'm retired USMC, re-retired database programmer, and full-time referee here.

This site now takes up most of my day. I never expected that but it's a labor of joy, except for the peace-keeping duties.

My wife helps me out and works summers helping The Nature Conservancy take water level readings at Sierra Blanca, and she also tracks wolves in eastern AZ and New Mexico for the Mexican Gray Wolf reintroduction program. Cool job. That's why we miss the pre-season games.

It's been really, really slow. I'm thinking about sending out a mailer, or maybe doing some telemarketing. Supposedly there's a lot of people home around dinner time...

I've heard if you call between 6 and 8 PM that's when people are friendliest and willing to listen to a sales pitch. It's worth a try.

I was curious if you were a professor somewhere or something. I want to quit my job and go back to school to become a history professor.

Go for it big guy.

I have taught at the college level since I have my Ph.D.

The only problem is that entry year profs don't make a heck of a lot of money.

With my my 32 year public school experience I can make more money as a public school teacher. Money isn't the most important factor...yet when you have 2 sons who quit their factory jobs and said "Dad we want to go to college now."...money does become a driving force....plus like I said.....the older I get the more toys I want.
