Why isn't anyone talking about this? The guy has been sidelined for a month over his first (?) concussion

Wasn't something just posted on the Cards sight, yesterday, that said both Smoke and Tyrann are cleared to play tonight...but that they think it's doubtful BA would expose them, just yet?

yeah hold him out until the opener and then hope for the best. I am concerned for him with the concussion lasting so long, if he gets another one right away he could be in big trouble moving forward.

Yes it is...I'm pretty sure he sustained at least two during last season.

I think most of us are probably concerned, but don't want to face reality. I know I don't. The kid adds a massive element to the stretch the field offense, but I worry about his health moving forward.

Well, the team has two years to identify whether or not he can have a long career in the NFL. If not, pressure is on Nelson to prove he can be the speedster.

It is a concern especially with the amount of time passing with him still having problems.

Smoke HAS been cleared to play, BUT SMOKE himself said, "I'm just trying to make it through a practice."
OBVIOUSLY he's still getting rattled as he runs around....which IS NOT GOOD. This concussion has held on for 3 weeks strong. I put his chances of making it through the season as slim to none....and slim just left. He's on glass status...and I'm not saying it as a bad thing or a knock....head injuries, every doctor will tell you, take less and less impact to cause the same or more damage.
It's not gonna take much of a hit for him to be laid out for the season. JJ Nelson should be on high alert.

true, but they don't have two years to decide on what to do with Floyd. It puts them in a tight spot, where if they knew Smokey didn't have this issue, they could look forward to a Smokey/Fitz tandem, at least in the immediate next year. But with his health a possible question mark, you could be looking at the outside possibility of no Floyd or Smokey to be paired up with Fitz. That would suck balls.

It's not a good situation at all. At least for the Cards situation, the WR depth is deep. If this were a O-line situation, it would be a real big problem

Floyd and Brown are two completely different types of receivers… I don't think one has anything to do with the other when it comes to a contract personally.

With JJ Nelson and Chris Hubert we obviously are looking for a John Brown type of player every year. Yeah, we are better with him, but it's not like the cupboard is immediately bare after one or two injuries like it used to be. Anyone remember Fred Wakefield playing TE? How about a punter, Tom Tupa, playing QB?

We have luxury problems compared to how it used to be.

they may have different styles of play, but they're both legit #2 WR and without one on the team, or one of them iffy, it makes the other that much more valuable.

what concern with him?

Here is another source.
Josh Weinfuss ESPN Staff Writer

Cardinals WR John Brown was diagnosed with a "sickle cell trait" from a blood test taken Thursday, coach Bruce Arians said Friday. Brown had been experiencing pain in his legs that was initially diagnosed as sore hamstrings. But after imaging didn't show any issues with Brown's hamstrings, the team gave him a blood test. His status for Sunday night's game is unknown at this point, Arians said.
