I think I would also want a draft choice thrown in there as a balancer, maybe a 5th rounder. I think Conner is 60-65% of Taylor's value and adding Jones kind of throws the balance in favor of Indy. You still have to deal with Taylor and a new contract which could get tricky.

Connor isn’t even close… but I simply wouldn’t have any desire to pay Taylor no matter how good he is

Unrelated to football on my part but I absolutely love when people with money try to confine and domesticate wild animals (especially apex types like killer whales) and then the animal eats them or a “trainer”.

There's zero good reason for us to trade for Taylor even though we're one of the few teams that could do it. Like... why? To go 7-10? Miss out on premiere players and be beholden to two wild contracts?

I admire JT's talent, but we ain't it.
