Something to ponder, our current makeshift line played amazing recently against Seattle... we do not need Cooper, you just don't go out with any girl because you do not have one lol
Our makeshift line did play well against Seattle, but who are our current backups? Boggs went down so Boehm had to play RG. DJ Humphries is still in concussion protocol. I guess we have Cole Toner backing up every position... oh & Givens Price... whoever that is.

If they don't sign anyone then we could be looking at Darren Fells or Hakeem Valles playing RT. Can our LS Aaron Brewer play OL in a pinch?

I don't care if they bring in Cooper, but bring in someone. At least we know who Cooper is & that he had the talent to be a high draft pick at one time.

It just seems like we've been losing 2 O-Linemen every week for the last few weeks.

For one remaining game, we have enough and not worth bringing back a guy who did not cut the grain if we are not going to the playoffs

Lesson to be learned here...NEVER draft an OG in the top 10!!! Coop definitely is in the top 10 Cards bust of all time IMO. :madarms:

Redskins drafted OG Brandon Scherff last year with the 5th overall pick, and he's been playing great for them. Cooper just didn't have the mental makeup to be successful...no way the Cards could have known that going in.

I would like to bring Cooper back and let him compete next year for the RG spot. Injuries have derailed his career so far but he is still young. At this point signing him would be cheap. If he works out we have our RG.

Word from the local beats were that Cooper was overthinking / questioning his assignments instead of doing his job. Almost became insubordinate. Not to mention, he was ALWAYS on the ground. Can't block NFL dlinemen let alone Pop Warner when you've been knocked on your a$$. No thanks!

That's a pretty terrible first round...in hindsight. Vikings did good with Sharrif Floyd and Xavier Rhodes, though.

Hey all teams say they have potential when they are down. I probably need a new stadium and started believing all the hype about "All Or Nothing"... but I am better than the Browns, I think

:lmao:
Dude, I might have people in my neighborhood that might make up a team better than the Browns...with me as QB. Of course, I'm the only one that hasn't played qb for the Browns, to this point. :D

Wasn't Scherff a tackle in college? I think it's fine to take OTs and convert them to guards. It's a problem taking a pure OG that high--they're probably college OGs because they're limited athletically.
