I'd rather have the depth but he's not been playing well, Stills should get more snaps and this solved a conflict when D Rob is back. Which I believe should be next week as he's been seen training already.

the bummer is the injuries have hit in two positions: Right Tackle with Jonah Williams / Beachum in successive games and then Ojulari / Robinson and now Jones.

Darius Robinson is 6'5" & 286lbs, it's been said he can play anywhere on the DL, that's rather heavy for an edge rusher, maybe he can anchor the middle? A DT that's strong & quicker at that weight could cause problems for the OL. Let's hope Monti got the pick right & he comes back healthy in week 5?

Funny story when I was in the hospital in November (I think), right after having the cancer the removed from my bladder the first time. The nurse was in the room doing whatever and I happen to flip the channel at the precise time the cage announcer announced my name, and the nurse looked at me and said hey that your name. Plenty of people here were more than willing to excuse giving away Zach Allen, one of the few guys that Keim picked that was actually young and good! For 15M per, really a rough pill to swallow with us paying Jones 10M.

I read today that Darius Robinson is eligible to come off IR in week 4 and it sounds like he's on track to resume practice. didn't say if he would be able to play in week 5 or not, hopefully he can make an impact.
I've never quite been sure where we intend to play him he was primarily inside in college then played edge his last year. But we're going to need him soon

I think we plan to use him like we did JJ...line him up inside early then bump him out to end on passing downs...then next drive keep him inside on passing downs,...then move him over there, then back over here..
