Thanks for posting - It says a lot about his character. Welcome to AZ Cribbs, hopefully your good attitude can rub off on Floyd.

Still doesn't make him more than an average joe in value to the Cards winning & losing at this point in his career.

My dad is a Browns fan and I've seen a lot of Cleveland games. I always loved Cribbs.

Not at all, it does speak of him as a person a bit though. It's good to have high character guys in the locker room.

Side note - I'd really like to see LaRon Byrd get some playing time this year. I think we're solid in the WR department now.

You know, as Cardinals fans we should have learned our lesson on how important it is to have leaders in the locker room.

The void that Anquan Boldin left STILL has not been filled. Cribbs is a leader, and if we get a #4 WR, who can do multiple things on the field, and can lead, well I think we should give a tip of the hate for bringing him in.

I mean, last year Early Dropsit was our #4.

Good post Muffin. People here are so set to hate that they can't see any good in anything being done by the new Staff and FO. We have signed a wealth of solid players, (all adequate for the replacement of those who have departed). That has not happened in free agency before, (excepting the unusual year of the locked out players).

Cribbs is a stand-up guy, and he deserves better than he is getting on this board. He and Alexander will make our ST's better, and the locker room much better.

FWIW, when he went pro, David Boston took out a full page ad in the Columbus newspaper thanking them for all their support and was seen as a kind hearted gesture by a stand-up guy.

So, I kind of take these things with a grain of salt.

Not really familiar with Cribbs other than the highlights I see but hope he comes in and does a good job. The FO must have saw something so lets hope they are right.

If we do get him I like the signing. Browns fans seem to love the guy and he can be our fourth wideout as well as backup RB. We all know he has been a great return guy and had over a thousand yards last year.

why does he have to be our #4? I haven't seen enough from Roberts and Floyd to say that they for sure are better WRs than Cribbs

If you haven't seen enough from Roberts to know without a shadow of a doubt that he is absolutely a better WR than Cribbs then you need to pass what your smoking bro.... ;)

Floyd showed more in his first season as a WR then Cribbs has his whole career arguably.

roberts is a better WR than cribbs already, floyd has more potential as a pure WR.

IMHO.

I like Roberts. And thought last year was BY FAR the best he's played. But to say he's so far above Cribbs that there's no competition for the job... I dunno. We'll find out. I'm not bashing anybody though. I am very excited with our WR corps
